Great place! We had our honeymoon in one of their fourth-floor suites. If you can afford it for a special occasion, book the top level suites. There's a loft and it feels like you're in a cabin. Good view of some nearby peaks too. The hot tub/pool is very cool as well, but the ambiance can be ruined by people's loud children who they're not keeping an eye on at 8pm. I will also add that the free continental breakfast at Chili's may be the worst I've ever seen, so we had to bail and go get some real food (I've been to lower-tier hotels that have bagels, cream cheese, scrambled eggs, and sausages, while this one had.cold hard-boiled eggs, wet bananas, toast, yogurt, and waffles. But that's more of a lazy Chilis problem than the hotel's.) Very unique inner courtyard as well, and friendly staff.
I guess piece and quiet costs extra. This is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. All doors open to the inner courtyard and you can hear everything. Whenever someone walks by, they might as well be in your room with you. Each room has adjoining doors and they don't hold back any sound either. Last time I pick a place because the pool looks cool.
Really enjoyed this hotel. The split level suites are really nice and the room was very clean. Had a good view from our room, but higher up would have had a nicer view to get some building out of the view. Simple but good breakfast.
Very happy with our stay we stayed in the connected suite room. Parking and breakfast was included. I would recommend offering a breakfast menu you can order from.
Staff was all very pleasant.
Grotto is awesome!
Very happy with our stay.
Super cozy, quaint and convenient to the restaurants and shops! Lovely scenery surrounding. Only complaint is no central air conditioning so bedrooms get stuff at night despite opening windows to let in the night air. Otherwise great stay!!
Spacious suite. Amazing hot pool. Conveniences like included breakfast (simple yet good), small kitchenette, and laundry. Beautiful property right on the main street of Banff.
Staff is friendly and helpful. We were in a king loft room. The room was comfortable with a fireplace, sitting area, balcony, and kitchenette on the first floor. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and electric hot water kettle, as well as dishes and silverware. The bed is upstairs in a loft area overlooking the downstairs. A TV is mounted over the fireplace and also on the wall across from the bed. The bathroom is also upstairs. The pool is a large hot tub, which is nice, but there are just a couple of small benches to sit on. Pool towels were in the changing rooms, but seemed to run out quickly. There is also a sauna and some showers in the pool area. Breakfast is a typical continental with three Belgian waffle makers served in what is Chili's later in the day. The hotel also included passes for the Banff Roam bus. The bus picks up right in front of the hotel and we just needed to show our room key. You can take the bus to get to-amongst other locations-downtown Banff, the Gondola, or hot springs. If there on Sunday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse is right behind the hotel.
This hotel is very underrated and we were extremely happy with our stay.
We arrived at midnight and we were quickly set up and we were able to get some sleep.
The attention to detail in this hotel is great with all of the fox branding.
The wood accents and the swimming pool in the middle are all gorgeous. And so are the peaks visible from the fourth floor. So pretty. Feels like you're sleeping in a cabin.
We got a free bus pass which was a nice touch.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Our only complaint is the breakfast. $2.75 for bacon? Those on a gluten free diet have limited options already and that's overcharging.
Besides that, great hotel.
Comfortable and relaxing. That's all the thoughts I had while attending this place. The rooms were beautifully designed. Soft mattresses and comforting fire. Helpful staff made it all the better. Great complementary breakfast to go along with it.
Really like to come here! Nice rooms and of course the pool is a neat experience! Always clean. They were happy to provide us with quite early check in (1pm) and late checkout (12pm). We also appreciate the included breakfast which is more extensive then most hotels. Underground heated parking is a bonus in the winter. Not the closet hotel to downtown Banff but about a 10 minute walk.
Room is pretty cramped despite the pictures depicting a spacious suite. The bathroom is tiny with a sink outside which truly makes no sense. Both TVs in the room do not work fully so the PS3 we brought to play games on is just dead weight for our luggage. The pool although looks amazing in photos is quite small and dark, and damp. It also gets too hot to enjoy for more than 5 minutes at a time. For such an expensive night stay in a premium suite, we are pretty disappointed. Try another hotel, as we would never visit Fox again.
Great rooms and great location. The king bed suite is amazing and very comfortable. I only wish they had a better TV system setup in the room. The interface is brutal and makes Navigation extremely difficult.
Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful Cave Grotto Hot Pool, and Dry Sauna. We liked having Chili's available for a drink or two later in the evening. The room was spacious and clean. We did notice that our room didn't have a mini fridge, and my hubby was not a fan of the lavender soap as the only soap option. (I loved the Lavander). The breakfast, was very basic. (Waffle Maker, Yogurt, Toast, Cereal, some baked goods) it would have been better to go and get breakfast somewhere instead of having the hotels. The staff was great, I had asked for a late check out and they allowed it with no extra charge.
