Stayed most recently here for my fiancé's birthday. Had an excellent experience with the front desk staff (Jess) ahead of our stay to arrange an early check-in. Not only was the early check-in arranged, but a complimentary upgrade to a loft kitchenette suite was arranged as well! Was pleasantly surprised at the gesture. The room was quiet, clean, and really enjoyable to stay in. Fireplace was a great touch too! Took in the pool and hot tub during our stay as well. Again, everything was clean and enjoyable. While we didn't eat supper or take in the lounge, we did eat breakfast at Bumper's. Meal was ok, nothing special. They make some amazing hash browns though, and the service was great.

Although originally pleasant, our stay was dampened by the unpleasant management and poor customer service. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly in response to a valid question. Management took our deposit on the room, and laughed when we asked why. Not only did they tell us that their policies allowed them to do as they please, in response to asking why other hotels did not have the same policies they told us that next time we can stay somewhere else as they don’t need our business. Over one frivolous thing, the Rundlestone Lodge has left an unpleasant memory of what was supposed to be a family trip. Disgusting.

Nice hotel, great value for the price, rooms were clean and staff were really friendly. Wasn't terribly happy with the restaurant food (restaurant in hotel). Would recommend the Juniper restaurant instead.

Honestly the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. Management staff are awful and won't care about any problems you have. The restaurant inside is expensive and not worth the money at all. I ordered a hash and I got an omelette somehow instead. The food was cold and the waitress didn't care.

The bedrooms are gross and we were in a suite. There was dirt everywhere, the shower didn't work properly and the bedding smelt bad. The mattress was a brick.

Save your money and go to another hotel on the strip.

Absolutely terrible room. $300 per night! We look into the rooms in the building next door. They refused to move us yet the person checking in before us got a free upgrade. We booked in February for September to ensure a good room. They definitely lost any future business for us and our friends we tell this about. I wish there was a zero star rating.

Very nice hotel. Spent two nights in the family suite. Good central location in Banff. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the kids loved the pool. I would stay here again.

Your paying for the location not the room. The first thing I noticed was the furniture was below the average quality of similarly priced hotels (that I've been to). That set the tone for the whole experience, "below average, but not bad". It does have a very nice pool and hot tub though, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed for 2 nights in the corner room/family suite. Room 234.

Price we paid was not worth it. Hotel is out-dated and needs refreshing. Suites are cute but in need of repairs.
Building security is lax. The rear door was not secured so anyone could walk in.
Plus side though is the staff. They were very pleasant and professional.

Really liked this place. The pool & hot tub were perfect after a long day of hiking. Everything was clean & new. Staff were always super friendly. And possibly the best part was the free 2-hour bike rental, which was the perfect way to sight-see around town.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful, and anticipated the needs our large group had when staying the night. The rooms were beautiful and clean. I'd recommend the hotel for anyone who stays in Banff.

Booked 2 nights over Easter long weekend, 4 people 2 beds 1 room. Upon arrival they said rooms are made for 2 people so there is an additional fee 20 per person per night, but they never gave more towels or cups to turn the room into made for 4. Also the underground parking got full fast, park early and walk or you wont have a spot. Pool and lobby was nice. Restaurant has good brunch.

Basic hotel room for the "premium king room". The hotel is located at the start of Banff so you don't get a lot of the downtown noise. 20 minute walk to the other end of the town, so a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was decent. Large portion sizes. Bathrooms in the rooms were poorly lit.

Stayed here in the summer. Basement parking made everything simple and the 15 minute walk to downtown was a good way to see the town. Well priced with friendly staff with suggestions of what to do in town. Decent pool and good views from the hot tub. Biggest downside was that our room was quite dark with only a small window looking onto the pool area for natural light.

Probably the best bang for your buck place to stay in Banff that keeps you close to downtown.
The rooms are well kept, though we found the bed and pillows to be a little on the firm side.
However, for what you're paying, I cannot stress that it is completely worth it.
The gym and pool area is quite nice for relaxing after a day of walking the town.
The balcony's have incredible views of the mountains and the town, though since you're in the mountains, I am sure every place can say the same.
If you're looking for a cheap stay while not compromising too much, this is the place to go.
