The venue was beautiful, and the event was well organized on the part of the hotel. The staff went out of their way to help out with whatever we needed. Food was excellent, as usual, there's a reason we go back every year!

The hotel is an icon of Calgary and right in the heart of downtown. Being part of the Fairmont brand you know you are in for a treat of a stay. The main area is quite nice. Elevators are a bit tight but reason being is they are the original elevators and haven't changed since the building has been around. The food we thought was slightly overpriced for the quality, I'm a bit of food snob now though. The rooms were comfortable but the views are a flip of the coin. We had a beautiful view of a parking lot. All in all, it's an experience staying at the Fairmont Palliser and most likely we'll be back.

Love it. Any Fairmont is a historic luxury hotel among the best I've ever stayed at. Highly recommended. Please shop for rates I often stay here for $150. The best staff, service and accommodations. If you don't want to go out the restaurant in any Fairmont is exceptional. As is the bar.

The Hotel staff and kind and courteous. Hotel rooms are small and cozy. The Hotel restaurant is lacking variety but overall serves great food. Valet service failed to bring out my vehicle via over the phone notification but otherwise great stay in the heart of downtown Calgary. Only a 1.5 hours drive from Banff which is a plus !

Excellent location. Excellent service. Workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Each day i walked into the main lobby, someone always asked me if i needed any help or directions. Would definitely stay here again!

About a month back me and my girl friend went to Calgary for a convention. We had an outstanding time at your beautiful hotel! Everyone was wonderful Austin was an absolute pleasure every morning! If I owned a restaurant I would surely try to steal him:) thank you all

The Palliser is a lovely place to stay in Calgary. It is within walking distance of many downtown activities. The service is excellent and friendly. There are interesting and unique dining options in the restaurant. The Melting Chocolate Showered for dessert is not to be missed. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was recently renovated, with a nice shower.

Staff was very friendly, attentive and hospitable. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was poor. We ordered breakfast room service and my protein breakfast wrap was split in half with one side pretty much containing nothing but wild mushrooms and the other having all of the tofu. The white bean side salad seemed like it was just canned beans, a couple grape tomatoes and a drizzle of oil. I was very disappointed and did not end up eating more than two bites of each.

This is pertaining to the attitude of the valet service. I'm a car2go user in downtown Calgary and was attempting to commute home yesterday when a car2go was showing within the Palliser. I assume this car was not renting a room there, and the app is never inaccurate with car placement, so I assumed there was some sort of garage underneath the building. I politely asked the valet if he knew of a parking garage underneath the building. He scoffed at me and shooed me away when he learned I was not looking to have a car parked. This seems ridiculous? I was polite, courteous, and just a working professional trying to solve a mystery. There was no reason to be rude. It's tainted my view of this hotel, and I'd have a hard time recommending it if that's what the staff's demeanour is like.

Rooms very nice and clean. Employees helpful and courteous. Location right in the middle of Calgary city Centre. Pool and spa are nice, but not a fan of the shower curtains in the change rooms.

We did lunch & spa day and it was amazing!!! Food & drink were delicious. Serving staff was very friendly. The Spa was amazing. Very relaxing and the staff was superb!

Last weekend we were staying at Fairmont Gold - what a wonderful experience! Staff is super helpful thoughtful and personable - Highly recommended! Hotel is classy, clean and beautiful.

This hotel is beautiful. We booked on short notice, only a couple hours before we arrived. The staff were very friendly, we even got a room upgrade at no extra charge. The room was very clean and had a lot of antique charm and character. There was a fully stocked mini bar and room service available until 130am. The food was delicious. Parking is easy, inexpensive and plentiful. We will return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.
