Staff were very polite and courteous, and beds and towels were clean and comfortable. The room was clean overall but felt dated with older 90s era furniture and smaller first generation TVs. Breakfast was included and included basic bread and pastry, bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns, as well as a small selection of fruit and a make-your-own waffle station. It is noted the hotel was under renovation at the time of the stay.

In for the weekend. Checked in quick, parking was reasonably priced for 2 nights (~$20). Clean, spacious suite. Breakfast in the morning was good, excellent bacon. The pool was good to relax in, but definitely more of a laps pool then a splish-splash pool. Elevators are a bit slow in the busy hours, but not unreasonably so. According to other guests in said elevators, they can be a bit noisy if your room is next to them. Room service is only available for the morning as far as I could tell on the weekend, so keep that in mind if it matters to you. All all in all, good hotel, good location, polite staff, somewhat creepy middle elevator.

Nice spot.. Big suites.. Nice pool/hot tub. Breakfast also great and included. Location is perfect. Hotel is undergoing renovations so you will notice things being worked on.

Obtains a pool and fitness center open 24 hours. Wondeful staff. In the center of downtown. Wonderful rooms that are clean and well maintained. Our room had a sink, mini fridge, coffee pot and a lovely seating area. The balcony was nice sized and the sunset going down the street was beautiful.

Great location, right in downtown Calgary. The room we checked in was spacious. It had a small dining area, small living room with a pullout couch, and a king size bed. The only thing I noticed upon entering the room was it had a "storage room" kinda odour. Unlike other hotels we checked in, you can smell the freshness of how clean the room is. The pool and the jacuzzi was good, nothing special. The gym was good. The complimentary breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic! For $190 all in, including your parking, it's good.

Location was central for our requirements close to river and about 5 minutes to central shopping malls and restaurants. Room was a suite include tea and coffee making facilities. We had breakfast there buffet style great choice was excellent. Air con in rooms staff very friendly

We always get a room here when staying in Calgary. It is currently in renovation, which is to be finished in 2018. Pet friendly - around 15 bucks per night fee which is not bad at all. A park is about 2 blocks away. Nice, studio like rooms. Highly recommended for the price.

Because of construction, there is loud noise in the rooms during the day, and elevators take a long time and are often full. Location is good, downtown and near Chinatown (lots of restaurants). The breakfast bar is good, but options are fairly limited (eggs only available scrambled, limited varieties of fruit, only juice available is orange). In the room we had the air conditioning did not circulate well, so the living area was freezing while the bedroom was still too warm. Staff is very friendly and were accommodating about the noise. Room was very clean.

Booked a king size bedroom suite with pullout couch. The room / suite was nice and spacious, bathroom was a tad bit cramped but manageable Price was reasonable for 3 nights. Self parking is available at a price per day. I docked them off 1 star because they had renovations / loud drilling noises directly above us without any fair warning Would've been nice if they could've moved us to a couple floors above the renovations but maybe the renovation noises were unavoidable.

I booked this hotel for the weekend because of the appealing low nightly price for a suite room, its downtown location, complimentary breakfast buffet and free weekend parking which most hotels downtown do not offer. Unfortunately, the pros above do not compensate for the overall experience of the hotel. The room was big but was outdated, old, and had a very small bathroom. Housekeeping only made our bed but never changed the bedsheets. Our room was also very noisy. Loud dripping sounds from the ceiling was heard throughout the whole night and morning! Front desk staff members, a woman in particular was rude and condescending. She worked late afternoon/evening and was unbelievably rude over the phone and in person. I called the day before to inquire about hotel parking and the limit number of cars allowed in the parkade per room. And before being able to ask the question, the woman was like “Well, what do you what to know about it? Do you want to know the prices or what?!”. Then in person, when questioning about the complimentary water and why it was not offered each day we stayed for, she laughed and rolled her eyes and did not even offer an apology for the inconvenience. Needless to say, I will not be staying in this hotel again, regardless of the perks mentioned above. As the saying goes, you do get what you pay for.

Great, large, clean room. 24 hour pool was clean, had lots of towels, and huge! Free breakfast had a huge variety and fresh foods. Staff were super friendly. They even threw in free parking. Loved this hotel and will definitely be visiting again!
