Hotel is closed for demolition and is STILL taking bookings and money. Please save your money and the hassle of arriving only to find your reservation can't be kept and no one is willing to help you, as was the case with me. I will never use Travelodge again for their terrible customer service.

There was a women in the sixth floor that tried selling me drugs while I was with my children. I did not appreciate that at all. It lead me to wonder what kind of people they rent rooms to. She said that she was in room 612 and that she has been living there for a while. Please don't come to this hotel if you wish for a comfortable experience

Worst hotel in Calgary! Do not stay here.
We booked 2 rooms in advance, When we got there the rooms had no power- We ended up getting another room- Which also had no power.
When we finally got 2 rooms ( 12 rooms apart) The door was broken and would sometimes take 15+ times to even get inside, and often the door would not lock.
The hotel concierge staff gave us two door keys- WITHOUT asking for valid proof that we actually where staying in that room.
There are no fridge or microwaves in the rooms (as advertised on their website)
The first night we stayed a room down the hall was extremely loud from the time we got there till 8-930am. After bringing it to the desks attention we where met with the 'We dont care' attitude.
The bedding in the rooms was "Clean" but the beds and other items where in disrepair. The bathrooms & Showers where nasty. The cleaning ladies stand around all day and occasionally go into rooms.
When we brought these concerns to the attention of the desk we where discounted for 1 nights stay at approximately half cost.
The second night- There was a fight in the halls at 5am. To which a hole got punched in the wall.
The Continental breakfast is cereal & muffins unless you want to cook your own waffles.
Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies.
Pet friendly but at an extra 20.00 a night for a already run downplace is kinda ridiculous.
The best part of this place is leaving and never returning.
A cardboard box in an alley downtown would have been better!response / report this review -

I was in 4th floor. Room was not clean. Shower taping was not functional. Drainage was clogged. Shower curtain was very dirty. Fan was very noisy.
The elevator was in very dirty condition. Comedy cage located at ground floor, and it adds more drunk smoker at the main entrance door. Outdoor parking road marking is verty narrow and getting out the car after parking is not easy!response / report this review -

U mmmm. .read the reviews after bookingopps that was a mistake. ..no fridge..broken ice machine on first floor .. ( only one)..I was on fourth..had to get desk to get me ice bathroom was gross..room was datedprice doesn't even come close to what it should be69.99 max..

If I could give negative stars I would. This hotel is disgusting. I"m here for 2 more nights and if it wasn't for the fact that Stampede is on and everything else is booked I would find another place. I was looking forward to some time in the pool.literally minutes before I went to go down to the pool we were told it was closed due to filter issues. The guy said it would be ready within an hourwell its been 24 hours and its still closed. When I called down to the desk all I got was "we don't know how long it will be"no offering of a discount. ON TOP of that our room wasn't cleaned properly. The ice bucket wasn't emptied, my empty paper coffee cup was still sitting on the table and a slurpee container was left on the floor. Totally disgusted by this hotel!

The trucking company that i work for send us to this hotel but i rather sleep in the truck than to come here. Poorly maintened hotel. Room are so old and dirty. Washroom could be clean more properly and the hotel is moldy and not worth it and why do they hide the microwave and fridge.

The filthiest place I have ever stayed in. Not dirty, filthy. Towels stained and dirty, our counter had some sort of part liquid part solid the tv remote was stuck to, it stunk like something dead. The room was not cleaned the following day. We went as a group and booked 8 rooms, floors were sticky, most amenities did not work, one room lost power. Staff was friendly.

This has to be the worst hotel I've stayed in yet. Lots of hotels in the area were sold out for the night. However Travelodge had SMOKING room, (we don't smoke) didn't even think that was a thing anymore. But we REALLY needed some where to stay for the night. The room just reeked of smoke, which is to be expected I guess. The white lamps were a gross shade of yellow. The AC unit in the wall didn't even work. Shower head was all rusted, and gross water staining on the ceiling in the bathroom. After a night of sleep, woke up to see the sheets coming off the bed a bit, the mattress had a big red stain in it. Our sheets had visible stains on it, to say the least I was completely disgusted. Not enough towels, had a room with 2 double beds and there were only 2 towels in our room. Like don't you think when there's enough bed for 4 people you should have a minimum of 4 towels. Luckily my friend had his own towel in his bag for whatever reason. Atleast he knew he had the clean towel as everything at this hotel was extremely questionable. The hotel in itself only had one elevator & parking was a pain. The back & side door's " didn't work" so had to park a ways away and walk all the way up to the front just to go inside. The lobby is decent looking but very plain, and they also took a 50$ deposit, for what reason I don't know because I just got it back the next morning when no one had even looked at our room after we left for anything. That was some unnecessary. And we didn't even want to pay on the credit card we provided but they processed the payment on that card and didn't even ask us if that's how we wanted to pay.
