"0" Stars not 1 just had 30 min check in. Paid in full for a room, after the full payment at the agreed price and a $200 preauthorization on my credit card. I was told The room he was going to give me was not available so he must now charge me for a more expensive room. This is after all documents have been signed. I demanded a refund as I am not a big fan of bait & switch. Would pay triple elsewhere just to ensure these idiots don't get a penny from me. Will be reporting this motel.

Place looks rundown however looks can be deceiving. Beautiful and updated rooms. 4 stars because they should really update room locks. They're still using room keys which tends to get annoying when there's two or more persons in a room that got to do different things but share 1 key.

Antiquated washrooms, which is to be expected. Rooms were tidy. Staff doing check-in was thorough and did everything by the book. Fairly cheap price. WiFi issues, needs to be resolved. Swimming pool looked kind of gross. All in all, you get what you pay for, but Best Value Inn is decent for what it is.

The room was large and clean. It is a bit old, so fittings in the room seem dated and could be improved with maintenance. The front desk area is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The staff is great, friendly. It was our first visit to Canada. We got a warm welcome at Canadas best value inn.

Hotel located in what feels like an unsafe area. The motel has rooms in groups of two that are accessible from directly outside via a door that is unlocked. The room itself was furnished fine and the beds we're comfortable but the bathroom had too many gnats.

Stayed there twice, in two different 3-Queen-bed rooms. Good location, right on the Trans Canada Hwy 1. The rooms were outdated, but the large space, comfortable beds, cleanness and the friendly staff definitely made up for it.

Terrible hotel, in every way.
I would never stay there again, even if they paid me. Very Dirty, the room stank like cigarettes and they were very rude. Horrible experience. Spend the extra 10 dollars and go up the road 100 ft.response / report this review -

Overall had a good experience. The rooms are just outdated. Beds were comfy enough and the room was clean. We stayed in the 3-queen bed room.

Would stay again .the front desk staff were very friendly and helpfulwe unfortunately missed out on the pool cause it was middle of march We stayed in a room with one king bed and surprising the bed was comfortable i was worried about that since it was a low budget hotel but nopee comfy.room was very clean and largeonly thing some people may consider wrong is the bathroom was small and outdated(blue tub n toilet) but also very clean ..nice and close to a good amountbof stuff.the hot water sometimes wasnt really hot n could hear people upstairs.all really minor bads overall it was great i would recommend it especially if you wanna save a bit of money for other things

It was serviceable in my double queen sized bed room. Poor plumbing, hot/cold shower. Dated decor. You'll love the price. Cdn$72 taxes included.

We always stay here when we come to Calgary. For the price, the rooms are great! Spacious and clean. Breakfast is always good too. Miss the pool went we stay during the winter haha
