Convenient location across the street from the c train station. Clean rooms including a safe for storing your valuables. Courteous staff made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible

This was a good little hotel, nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The pool with waterslides was pretty fun, and the continental breakfast was a major reason for us choosing this hotel. My only complaint would be that there were no options to rent movies, and a lot of the TV channels were disabled. Otherwise we had a nice stay!

Stayed here for one night. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained room. Great hotel for the price point! I would stay here again!

Rooms are large and comfortable, relatively updated and clean. Pool is fun and has a water slide. Close to a lot of main attractions in Calgary (minutes to downtown).

If you have very high expectations then this place is not for you. Otherwise this place is decently priced, clean and friendly enough. It's the fast-food model of hotels/motels. Free breakfast and conveniently located next to a major freeway. Indoor swimming pool is a bonus although chlorine smell permiates into the lobby.

The location is great if you are planning on taking the ctrain somewhere (station is directly across the street). The hotel however.
-our sheets had hair all over so i requested a new set & made my own bed. Im wondering if the sheets were changed at all.
    - the toilet seat needed to be replaced in our room.
    - the ice/vending area on the main floor had a faint smell of sewage.

For positives, the breakfast was good. And the staff were friendly.
Next time we'll stay at the holiday inn next door.

Very nice, clean, convenient, and quiet. The best stay I have ever had on Banff Trail in Calgary. Parking was abundant.

Very disappointed and feel very disrespected. My girlfriend and I went to this hotel after going on expedia and looking for a good deal. We ended up in Calgary after taking a road trip through the mountains on our day off and decided to stay the night as we ended up in Calgary. The hotel was average but right beside a really sketchy hotel which our room was facing looks like lots of drug activity and shady stuff. The part that was the very worst was in the morning my girlfriend and I woke up at 6:20am 10 minutes before they were serving their free breakfast so we thought perfect we'll grab breakfast and get an early start on the drive home as we had a long trip ahead of us. We went down stairs to eat breakfast about 10 minutes later an old guy comes down that seems like he's been there awhile as he was kinda flirting with the 2 cleaners that were working there and he knew their names and kinda being a little too friendly. After about 10 minutes of my girlfriend and I sitting down a guy comes into the room in a suit and is standing their and leaves the room a few minutes later we are approached by the one cleaning staff lady who says " hi I don't remember seeing you two last night coming in what room are you two staying in" I immediately knew she was assuming we came off the street and were trying to get a free breakfast despite us having our bags on us and not looking homeless ( I am a Power Engineer and my girlfriend is a Nurse) my girlfriend (who I was trying to have a good weekend with) didn't at first realize what she was trying to imply and was going to tell her. I immediately told my girl friend what she was implying and told her not to tell her the lady said in a sketchy way " I didn't see you two come in last night and I just want to know what room you stayed in because I am going to clean your room later" now I know this woman thinks were homeless and stupid for thinking she can insult our intelligence like that. I said oh I don't remember what room we stayed in ( as it was none of her business and I felt very disrespected) . Me and my girlfriend left after going out to our rental car and talking about it my girlfriend felt very upset for getting treated like that. I came in and spoke to the manager and all he said was "well we do get people once in awhile that come here and eat off the street and he did not understand why we should have took that "the wrong way" and said that they ask everyone that.. Which was another insult to my intelligence. We both left feeling very confused as to why our stay ended like this and we both felt like it was a very sketchy experience.

Had an awesome stay. The room and facilities were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was simple but yet still satisfying. Location is in an area neat the university in a cluster of other motels. Pool , hot tub fitness centre and business centre are included at this location.

Was very nice and reasonable rates. Only improvement would be with the working A/C unit and bigger glasses for rooms for drinks. Otherwise pleasant visit!

Upgraded to a king suite for free, which was lovely! Big front room with couch, desk, table, kitchenette. However despite having plenty of cupboards and a microwave, there was no cutlery, no plates, no bowls nothing.
Directly across from the Banff trail train station so very handy to town and also a few local shops. Fitness centre has treadmill, recliner bike and dumbbells up to 50lbs. Guest laundry is 2x $1 coins and in the basement. Free breakfast is reasonable. Served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. In room heating is very loud but does the job. Very handy USB plugs at the bedside. Good stay
