Mark Mapatac I just had my company Christmas Party there. It's was great, so fun!! The staff was great and friendly. They had a fun Casino and Alliance Entertainment was so awesome and entertaining!! Thank you so much to the Westin Hotel and Alliance Entertainment to a night I will never forget!!!

Stayed there with my 10-year old daughter for one night. The room was average but the washroom was a bit on the too small side. The mattresses were too soft for my liking so I didn't sleep well and woke up with a sore back.

Had breakfast the next day with my daughter at Essence. The food and milk was running out with no one to replenish them. I had to wait each time I wanted something as nobody was around to provide service. I had to ask for juice and water constantly, without getting any refills. I actually left the place thirsty because there was nobody to fill my glass with water. My daughter wanted some water and she didn't get a glass. The milk ran out when she wanted cereal as well. I always use the Edmonton Westin for business trips and their service is way better and more prompt, especially for the breakfast buffet. Plus they have juices and water readily available for people to just help themselves. Whereas, in Calgary, there isn't anybody to serve you and you're parched the whole time. Very disappointing experience for me.

Brilliant attention to details. Very comfortable and clean room. Bathroom relatively small, and showerhead lacked water pressure, but again, the small details like lavender spray to help you sleep (Sleep Well Lavender Balm) and food available for purchase to help you sleep better (Sleep Well Menu) made the stay very surprisingly pleasant. Great customer service.

I stayed here on a business trip for two nights this summer and quite enjoyed it. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is centrally located so everywhere you would want to go is a short walk or uber ride away. The restaurant is the Keg Steakhouse and the food is delicious.

Great place for a conference, hotel is showing its age though. Valet is top notch and food service was excellent. With some Renovations this could be a world class hotel.

I visited for a company town hall meeting. The conference room that we used was more than adequate. Lots of space, clean and very professional. Staff was very helpful. Hotel overall starting to show its age, but still functional.

Got a king size bed, normal suite. No complaints. Staff was great and helpful if we had questions. The room was in great condition. Was there for a party and the venue looked awesome as well.

Very nice hotel. Great location, right downtown - Starbucks and The Keg in hotel. Renovated, spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed and linens. Always enjoy the aloe and white tea ameneties at the Westin. Friendly front desk service and valet. Reasonable rate.

Hotel is high quality and staff is nice. They will try their best to accommodate your needs. I will definitely recommend my peers for this hotel. The only thing I didn't like is the parking. Their parking is shared with the public. If there is a big event, it will be full. They also have another parking lot at the back of the building, across the street. However, it is not as convenient if you are carrying heavy luggage.

Rooms were spotless, and staff were extremely friendly. My stay wasn't long, so I can't comment on the room service. My overnight stay was extremely nice, however, and I'd love to stay again. My only complaints are that the toilet in my room took about 20 full seconds of holding down the handle to flush properly, and the option to switch the input on the TV was hidden in an obscure options menu. These are, however, minor issues, especially with how great the rest of my stay was.

Great proximity to many downtown Calgary locations. Nice lobby and friendly staff. Has a Starbucks coffee shop on the ground floor, as well as close access to many food options during the day through the Plus 15 network. Good conference rooms for professional events. Finally, great taxi access as taxis are typically available 24/7 from my experience. I have only ever had to wait about 3 minutes for a taxi.

The room was extremely comfortable except for one thing. It was too warm, which made it difficult to sleep. I was glad that I brought a small fan. I set the thermostat at 16C but it never got to that.
The shower however was extraordinary! The staff was marvelous and offered complimentary Starbucks to compensate for the fact that I found it too warm in the room.
I had dinner at The Keg which is attached to the Westin and the meal was marvelous! The 12 oz. NY strip was cooked EXACTLY medium rare. There was the correct amount of marbling to steak and I found it tender and juicy. I didn't even have to add salt or pepper to it. The twice baked potatoe was good but smaller than hoped. The service was impeccable.
Tim Horton's is across the street if you are a fan and I plan on returning to try Caesar's, which is 2 blocks away and appears highly regarded.

Gorgeous hotel. I've stayed here once before and the room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. I've had a couple experiences with the Westin since. The first one that comes to mind is New Year's Eve It was about 3 AM and I was trying to catch a cab home.
The concierge had no idea who I was and didn't ask if I was a guest of the hotel, but still went out into the cold for me to hail a cab. They will go above and beyond for anyone. I was extremely impressed!!

I make a point to stay here, overall service is unbelievable. I booked a weekend get away for myself and girlfriend, had flowers arranged to be in the room prior to our arrival, chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Even after leaving we were approached by multiple employees asking if it was a good surprise, completely blew me away. I'm in the customer service industry myself, so i'm quite the critic when it comes to that. highly recommend.
