Excellent position. Clean, fresh decor. Very pleasant helpful front desk staff. Close to cafes, restaurants & pubs. One street from River. 5 mins walk to Federation Square, Flinders St Station & tram stops. Would definitely recommend hotel.

Nice place to stay. Close to shops and eateries. Friendly staff. Only wish there were rooms with balconies for air flow. A pool would be a bonus.

Room was nice. Aircon didn't work and views are average at best. Comfortable for a quick overnight stay. Wouldn't recommend it for long term.

Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting the city or the surrounding area. Only a 2 min walk to Flinders st station but situated such that I could not hear any traffic or train noise. Staff were very polite and approachable. Rooms are basic but serviceable.

I was impressed with this hotel! The room was modern, spacious and squeaky clean. It had all the necessities and it was perfect for us. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer! Breakfast was AMAZING, food was delicious and unfortunately we ran out of some particular stuff pretty soon. The dining area was beautiful and the service was quick and very friendly. The only two things that we weren't very impressed with - the Aircon in our room wasn't heating properly, we contacted the service desk and were told that house keeping will come up and have a look. That took a long while, but when the lady arrived she was very friendly and helpful. She offered us a portable heater, and again it took a while to get to us. The other thing was the water pressure in the shower, it just wasn't great :( Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and we will definitely consider staying there again next time we visit Melbourne!

Checked in about 7pm and headed out to dinner. Lack-lustre reception could not get my name right (Called me Andrea/sharon and continued to do so, joint booking) and was keen to tell me that they were fully booked. Not really welcoming.

Returned about midnight, when we realised that the sink had spat out toothpaste in it, the bench had dried tooth paste and scum on it, and the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. It was too late to do much about it. Went to have a glass of wine and the glasses were mismatched and less than clean.

The bathroom is like a nursing home or hospital - open, tiled floor with a drain, and shower curtains that do not meet in the middle. No hooks on the door and nowhere to put your clean clothes other than the toilet, sink (already revolting) or the floor (dirty and about to get wet, as the shower sprays water all the way across the room). Shower curtain less than clean as well. Scum line around the bottom. There is a bench seat in the shower that flops down. It does not stay up, and makes it almost impossible to get under the spray without flooding the floor.

Beds were ok. Room was clean, except for the bathroom.

On check out staff did not ask if we enjoyed the stay. We hadn't complained about the bathroom to reception because there was no point given the time of night.

The Travelodge was in a great location for my needs. Service from staff was friendly, quick, and efficient. The room was a decen size with plenty of space to move around and a desk for being able to get some work done. There is no stocked mini bar in the room, but item are available at reception. I had issues with the air conditioner, and I ended up having to turn this off for the night due to the amount of noise it made. TV was small for a room of this size, and free to air channels only. No sleep function accessible on the remote. I really miss this when hotels don't have it available.

Very convenient for the Southbank restaurants and arts precinct. The hotel has a fun, casual feel, friendly staff and reasonable parking nearby. The rooms were well equipped though the free WiFi was a bit limited. Would definitely want to stay again.

Great hotel. Staff is wonderful (I had to get new luggage because the airline broke my luggage on my flight getting to Melbourne - and the hotel staff let me use their telephone). Free Popcorn. Great location - safe area. Free Breakfast and a GREAT SELECTION - for both healthy and the carb lovers. Free Wifi. I would highly recommend this hotel - great for all ages.
