    The hotel location is great!
At check in we requested a quiet room and the person who checked us in gave us a room facing Flinders street station, the room was very noisy and we didn't complain as we had 2 nights and we didn't want to move room after checking in at 11pm at night.
Looked like the guy who checked us in it was too much effort to give us another room.
Our room wasn't cleaned after the first night and housekeeping left a card at the door.
We didn't complain to the hotel.
But we did expect better service from a hotel especially when it is a Hilton hotel branding.
Bathroom are bit small but a nice size room and close to shops and restaurants.
Haven't made up our minds if we would stay there again.
We were expecting better service from this hotel especially we are Hilton Honour members.

A wonderful evening stay. Staff were fantastic, although room was a little smaller than other Hilton hotels, it was nonetheless lovely, well appointed and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was sensational.

Great location! It's on flinders street. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. It's close to tram stop and train station. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast is good with variety of choices. There was no views in my room.

Excellent location, just seconds away from the tram stop. Cookies were given on arrival and on check out! Very friendly and helpful service staff. Rooms were very clean albeit basic. Also loved the range of teas available in the room. Highly recommended.

Location is great--right in the middle of everything in Melbourne. Public transport stops are right across the street, and tons of restaurants and shopping are all close by. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. My room had a window, but the view was only the wall of the building next door, so ask for a city view if you can.

We stayed in the accessible king room at the DoubleTree for a long weekend away from Sydney. I loved our stay and would be happy to stay again. The staff here are all amazingly helpful and professional from the reception to the restaurant to the floor staff. Our room was very clean and quiet and comfortable. However, it is worth noting that most tour groups/bus transfers won't stop at the hotel but two blocks away (it's an easy, flat walk but not ideal with luggage), and the amenities are fairly basic in that they don't supply any electronics such as hair straighteners and movies are pay per play, plus we found we ran out of toiletries such as toilet paper but the staff are helpful in correcting any issues with that. The location is unbeatable with easy access to the train station, the free tram, supermarkets, and eateries.

Tiny little boutique hotel in an excellent location. Restaurant is barely big enough to accommodate guests at breakfast. Pretty average amenities.

It's fine... Nothing special. No parking on premises, you have to use public parking, but they will let you pay for it at the hotel. Breakfast was very good, big buffet with the option to get certain things made.

Rooms were very dark no light at all yet on the website shows ALL rooms with good light. Rooms very small yet website shows very roomy. Receptionist said wi-fi available in Hotel but was only available in Hotel lobby and did not register us on the Hilton Club or whatever it's called. Breakfast was average. Will not return

Newly renovated hotel. Can tell it used to be an old hotel but after renovation with new shower and facilities, it's very nice and probably one of the best choices in this neighborhood in terms of price vs. quality. Location is super convenient - stone throw away from Flinder station, multiple supermarkets around, good food options close by, and walking distance to most tourist attractions. You also get free warm cookies anytime you want.

The reason I rated 4 instead of 5 is housekeeping experience wasn't great. Forgot to provide body wash but upon calling it was resolved easily.
