    Very comfortable hotel.

I stayed here for two days when I had a meeting in Melbourne in 2016. The room was spacious, comfortable and it was fully equipped.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. In fact, on my last day, I had to check out very early. They allowed me to have early breakfast before the checkout.

Great location in the heart of the Docklands. The room was very clean and modern; but there is improvement required for the overall experience. A lack of staff seems to be the cause of adverse experiences including check-in and dining. The dining room for breakfast did not have clear tables, no milk in coffee machine, and no plates for the buffet. With only two staff servicing the dining room, it was an impossible task for the attendees who were doing their best.
Some small improvements would see the motel lift in the overall customer experience.

It's a decent travelodge, with very good location to the convention center. Any closer you'll be paying triple. Basic amenities. The best part is the staff and service. The reservation expert Jasmine went above and beyond in sorting out my double booking predicament. She didn't need to, but was very helpful anyway and convinced the third party site I booked with to do a refund. Will definitely stay here again for all future convention trips. The docklands is quiet at night and weekends which is great for sleep. Plenty of restaurants and cafes and walking distance to Southern Cross Station with its restaurants and supermarket.

My friend and I stayed here and were very happy with our choice! Great staff, great location, great room. The beds were very comfortable and the food was fantastic! Parking was very convenient. We booked for a twin, but were given a King - as soon as we explained this to reception they swapped us immediately and apologised for the error. We needed some last minute printing as well which we were originally told it wasn't normally something they would do, but when we got down there the receptionist was more than helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

Airconditioning was wild, shower was leaking, king bed was two beds joined together. Breakfast was good. Checkout was quick. Tricky to find. Quiet street.

Decent size room. Comfortable and warm. Location is decent with a few bars and restaurants. Very handy to train station and Etihad stadium. Only thing that may annoy people is the amount of stairs to navigate to get to the hotel. There is an escalator in the channel nine building but you'll need to know it's there to find it.

Fine if you don't mind the heat, I suppose. Rather than proper air conditioning, it just appears to have some sort of fan system. No matter how low, it doesn't get rid of heat. This, on a room several stories up with no windows that can be opened doesn't make for a good mix.

Bad enough in winter, certainly wouldn't stay there in summer.

Otherwise, decent price, check out time and proximity to Southern Cross Station.

I just stayed overnight in Travelodge but the staffs were really accomodating and was pleasant overall. Their beds were big enough and room was cleanit has all the things I needed. Only recommendation I can think of is maybe the inclusion of a toothbrush/paste. If there was one then my mistake, they were not visible to me. I'm glad I bought one myself before my stay. Apart from that, I'll recommend them to a friend and happy to return.

Stayed here when we had some tickets to an event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and wanted a hotel in walking distance. The room was great, enough room for the three of us, loads of control for temperature and lighting, had a fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery and a safety deposit box.

The reception staff were helpful, free ice in the lobby and good breakfast options. Locally there was a good choice of places to eat in walking distance and not far from the train station. Would definitely stop there again.

Close to the heart of Melbourne. Standard looking hotel room. Good breakfast. Not bad room service. Popcorn on check in is a nice touch

I've stayed at the Travelodge in Docklands several times and it's always been a very comfortable place to stay. Good beds. Clean rooms. Hot showers. Close enough to the city, train station, etc to be convenient, but at the same time far enough away and with good enough sound proofing to not be too loud. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
