Great variety of fish and animals to see in different habitats. The huge walk-through aquarium houses several shark species and big sting rays. Cafe by the tortoise exhibit had very limited offerings. Those with kids are probably better off packing some snacks and sandwiches.

Amazing! I've organised a shark dive for my French friend and the staff were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for giving the best experience ever to my friend. She will never forget you and Australia. 💕💕

Our company held our Christmas Party there this year. Unfortunately it was not a very positive experience. Service was terrible, staff appeared to be poorly trained and customer satisfaction was not wait staff, nor managements top priority. The expense of the event v's the service we received did not compute. Food was average. Dietary requirements were not well catered for. Our Managing Director and I had to clear tables and serve drinks on the night due to the poor and extremely slow service of wait staff. We have expressed our concerns to the Event Manager but unfortunately they fell on deaf ears. No compensation was offered. Our Managing Director has requested for a call back from senior Aquarium Event Management, but to date has not heard back from anyone. We certainly won't be re booking here

Sea life is a fun place to visit. Watching all the fish, sharks, rays, and other sea creatures is mesmerising. The 4D cinema is worth watching and funny too! With lots to keep both adults and kids interested it is worth a visit. You can save a little by purchasing tickets online.

Awesome experience for all ages, kids will love all the scenes and wont get bored. There is many different sea creatures to look at and some you can even touch! Great experience and a chance to get some good pictures. Theres even a tube you can walk through with sharks, fish, sting rays and more swimming over you! They have a place to buy food, the prices are abit average but a nice touch to the place. Highly recommend coming here with the family or even by yourself for a great time.

It's close and convenient in the city. Great for kids, not so great for most others. The exhibitions mostly are okay but it is apparent that some of them are not really taken care of.
Price isn't worth it too. Perhaps with the 20% discount from the flyer on the city tram coupled with the price of a child ticket is fine. Also the combo ticket with legoland(while it's still around) is worth it at $50.
Nothing else is really worth it though.response / report this review -

Excellent, well worth a visit. As I was on my own, I didn't spend long (about 2 hours) but found it very interesting with a lot of large tanks for the animals. Well laid out and informative and would be a great place to take kids for a half day (or more).

Very fun visit ! A lot of cool activities to keep youngsters busy (even adults). I particularly enjoyed the stamp trail that not only guided us through the exhibits but also gave us a fun little keep sake from our visit. The staff were very friendly and culturally diversified. It was a very pleasant surprise running into a french employee from France. As a French Canadian tourist, I really enjoyed that little encounter !

This is a very nice aquarium. We went on a week day and it wasn't too busy. We spent the whole day here.
The staff is very helpful and kind. The animal talks are quite interesting and include some unique stories about the resident fish. The kids loved the hands-on play area and the stamp sheet. The food was a little pricey, but what you would expect for an aquarium. They did have some healthy choices which was nice.response / report this review -

With my kids, we love going to the sea life. It's perfect for a rainy day and with friends. the penguins at the start are amazing. I like watching them even if it's freezing near by. The huge aquarium is where I spend most of my time admiring these gigantic sharks, rays which go through the glass tunnel and I can almost touch them. One more special thing, if you have a chance sign up for the behind the scenes where they feed the fish, that's another awesome experience to remember for a long time. Some hot basic foods are available. Coffee is not the best in town (if you are fussy, get one before you go in)

The large aquarium with sharks and rays is amazing. Some of the biggest rays I have ever seen!
Fish are clearly well cared for, though I suspect the octopus and cuttlefish may have been suffering from boredom as their tanks were rather small. Especially the octopus.
The salt water crocodile was cool, and massive! I also enjoyed the penguin exhibit - the penguins looked like they were happy too. I did wonder why they were hand feeding the penguins - wouldn't it be better to live feed them so that they have to chase down the fish as they would in the wild?
Fresh water section was a bit underwhelming. A handful of nano tanks on a wall and a large terrapin pond.
There was also not much information about the creatures themselves beyond a sentence about where they were from.
I also personally hated the massive corporate sponsorship from the Finding Nemo and Ice age franchises. Tacky. Just really tacky. We skipped the stupid 4D cinema crap towards the end of the tour.
In summary, kids in the place seemed to be enjoying it, but not much here for someone into aquatics. A shame really.
Would have been nice to live corals used in other exhibits rather than fake ones and fake sea weed.response / report this review -

Pretty interesting with very nice aquarium and large stingrays. But apart from the large stingrays and the little penguin exhibit I don't find anything else real interesting. Expensive tickets though, buying them online at the door would be cheaper haha.

Easy access and great for kids. Great holiday fun. Staff very helpful recommended to purchase tickets online. Lot of different levels but lack substance. One croc on display. Penguins were plenty.

Way too expensive ($42!!!). Also if you're an adult with an interest in sea life, do NOT go here. Especially on a Sunday. Hordes of children running around everywhere. The whole place is crawling with them and the place is set up for kids under 10. They force you to get a photo taken when you come in by some over enthused teenagers who are forced to talk to you like you're 8 years old. Oh and don't make the mistake we did and try and get food in the cafeteria. There is probably enough seats and tables for 40% of the people there. Also the food was incredibly average and took half an hour for onion rings and wedges (both take 4 mins in a deep fryer max). the coffee was decent though!
Other than that the deep sea tunnel was awesome. But I'd suggest spending your money on something elseresponse / report this review
