Impeccable service even when a cockroach fell out of the ceiling vents and landed on our table. Food was better than I expected for the price. The flavours were well balanced and left you wanting more. The wagyu beef is worth a special mention.

Service good, for a fancy grill should be much better. But the guy was nice. Fish was really bad, and they dismissed saying "flown in fresh, could be the flavor from the grill". BS, thanks for blaming us. Steak was not that good. Need to step up. Unfortunate experience..

We try and visit Florentino whenever we're in Melbourne and we're never disappointed. The service and the quality of the food is outstanding with none of the pretentious bollocks that can come from top end restaurants.
The 6 course menu was amazing from start to finish just enough to leave you happy and content. The only downside to the evening was the female waitress who had all the charm and personality of 80 grit sandpaper not sure if there was a language barrier issue but she utterly devoid of any personality what so ever. But other than that everything else was perfect and we left Florentino having had a wonderful evening. We'll certainly be back! Thank you!

Octopus entree and the Duck pate scrumptious. Swordfish delicious as was the prawn pasta dish with side dish of crispy lettuce Italian style. Tiramisu dessert delicate. Excellent service.

So disappointed! This is the last time I am ever going to this beautiful looking restaurant! What a rip off again! Tiny cold expensive pasta.
Cold veal special! Overpriced! Wine was nice though! And service lovely! Real Italians would be laughing at this!

    Pricey, but we would return.

Just had a late lunch great food, wonderful tastes and great service from such professional staff. Wagu rump and chargrilled octopus tops the menu here.

The food is sublime. The staff are fantastic. If you have food intolerances, I highly recommend Grossi Florentino for a relaxed night out. Our waiter listened carefully to me, checked any ingredients with me that may be of concern and provided delicious alternatives for any course that was problematic. It's the first time in a long while I have eaten out and been able to sleep soundly with no repercussions afterwards. Thanks Grossi Florentino.

Hands down one of the best experiences my girlfriend and I have had together. The service was incredible, with the food amazing. The interior is so pretty and it makes for a romantic night out.

Food does definitely not meet price value ratio. $70 for a notorious 600g chicken leg? (which felt like less than 200g) - then go to Grossi. Besides that I don't have to complain about service or the entrees we had all in all - still too pricy and you get better value at another good Italian restaurant in Melbourne ;-)

All I can say is hats off to the chefs. The food was more than perfect. The moment we walked in we knew it is going to be amazing. The waiters were very professional and described each and every menu item to help with selection. Reminded me of the places in Italy the way it was set up and amalgamated with New York style decor. All the courses were carefully crafted and gave us one of the best culinary experience. Even our fussiest 3 year old enjoyed the meals with great pleasure. Tiramisu was one of the best I ever had. Thank you !!
