Well looked after at a Worksop I attended here- clean and the staff were well informed
Went to the spa - highly recommended! Had the lunch option . enjoyed every bite :-)
Pleasantly surprised. Lovely views over the balcony.
Not bad. A little run down. Staff were great though.
A pretty ordinary hotel. We booked a room for one night during the off-peak season through Wotif, and the room we got looked like something out of CSI circa 1966!. The furniture was old, the room has missing paint on the walls, the stucco ceiling was spotted with something I'll tentatively call as mould, the balcony facing out toward the pool could barely accommodate 2 people, and to top it off, we could barely get any sleep that night because the hotel staged a private party near the pool area which kept us up till the wee hours.
Generally, the place looks and feels very old. It may be cheap, but there's a bloody good reason for that.
My review of the hotel is not a pleasant one I'm sorry. The hotel is dated compared to the Rydges next to the hospital . I rang the restaurant to ask for some glasses and some slices of lemon and they said I had to get it myself , when I did the bar tender gave me dirty glasses and when I told her she blamed the dishwasher .I am a local and have worked in the hospitality industry for many years . I think if your hotel wants to be presented the way it is the service and Decor should match up . We ended up having a good nights stay for Father's Day but unfortunately will not choose this hotel again. The breakfast was nice thank god that's all I can say . All the best for the future .
The location is very good, close to the night market, face to the sea. Clean and tidy.Such quiet in the night. Hotel staffs are very nice. there is a beautiful swimming pool in the back. you can bring a towel from the reception before you go swimming.
But the history of this hotel must be very long, which I mean it is an old hotel. there is no microwave oven in the room, so you cant preheat your own food in the room. Wifi signal is not very strong covered in the room, and with a limited data 500MB/per day. I think it is a little bit expensive of 5days for $780 (with discount). It does not look like sort of 4 star hotel with just these services included above.
overall I will give a grade of 3.5/5 for this experience.
Location and price was very good.
Bed was way too soft for our liking.
Bathroom was very good. I would recommend a anti slip shower mat as bathtub is slippery when showering.
We liked the idea of having toys and non food items in the mini bar menu.
Milk needs to be restocked often as when we arrived the milk had gone bad.
Found the balcony to be a good size and perfect for viewing ANZAC parade. Air conditioner we found too noisy at night.
Overall a very nice place to stay.
