Lovely quiet resort nestled in amoungst lush vegetation opening out onto the beach. Our room was a private well appointed cabin with full bathroom overlooking a waterhole. Keys are given with a torch thoughtfully attached as you are walking down "bushtracks" to get to your cabin. A cool drink and towel upon arrival with a warm smile to match. Pizza restaurant "The Shaq" on the beach with live music on Fridays (book early to avoid disappointment). There is also a spacious well appointed restaurant inside the resort if you're not inclined to get sand between your toes that offers reasonably priced, well presented and tasty meals with a smile. Full buffet breakfast has plenty of variety and bound to please most. Definitely a nice place to stay if you are looking to just relax and enjoy peaceful surroundings.
Neat concept. My wife and I stayed here and we really enjoyed the private bungalow with a rainforest feel. However, there were a few glaring issues; the bed was a little uncomfortable and very low. Also, the hot water runs out very quickly. I had to hustle to finish my shower before the hot water ran out. Finally, the TV is small and dated. The water and the bed are very basic things, and although I really want to rate the resort higher, they really should fix these issues. Food is average. The massage is amazing.
Staff was great. The room was amazing. The private dinner on the beach was worth every penny.
Have had several excellent lunches here. Dining setout is spacious , staff are friendly, it's quiet and food is good and reasonably priced. Restrooms are clean and have the best decor around, worth a visit even if you don't need to go ☺
Recently got married at kewarra beach resort and I can't rate them highly enough. The location and facilities are stunning, all the staff are first class, nothing is too much trouble for them. The beach front cabin is excellent. They organised our wedding start to finish and helped give us the perfect day. Kewarra is the perfect place for a quiet getaway and we will certainly be back.
Pizza down by the beach is a great idea. Family friendly and live music.
Beautiful reception area, beach and surroundings; bungalows however are very dated. Make sure you have a reservation with a dedicated time at the restaurant (even if reception says you can show up anytime) or else they won't be able to accommodate you
Attended a post wedding pizzas and drinks on the beach at Kewarra beach resort and spa. I can't believe I have been there sooner. Very awesome spot for casual catch-up.
One of the most spectacular places I've ever seen. Great staff and facilities. Highly recommended.
Absolutely incredible every single time! Amazing food, venue & the staff are faultless! A waiter named Harry is without a doubt the best waiter myself & family have come across not only in Australia but also the world (and we've been to some fancy restaurants in our time) Cannot recommended this place enough :)
Great beach. Great swimming pools. Food and drink a bit pricy but very nice.
Magical location and environment. Top class.
Visited for dinner and the food was delicious. The services was amazing, friendly and consistent
Having never visited Cairns before, I was thrilled that I chose Kewarra Beach Resort and not something right in Cairns.
Our bungalow in the rainforest was clean, comfortable and really private. Beautiful pools and a patrolled, netted beach are major pluses. The netting is necessary for stinger season.
Breakfast was simple but plentiful and served in a divine open air restaurant. We also dined at the pizza shack on Friday night on the beach which is quite an event with loads of locals rocking up, live music and cocktails.
Lovely staff.
Accommodation is great. Breakfasts are tasty. Beach is beautiful. Public bus connection with Cairns is easy and afordable. And Jane at reception is helpful and efficient. Thank you!
