It’s 8:40am, what is considered peak hour for printing before work begins, and there is only one staff member manning the printing desk. In contrast, there are 3 floor staff members downstairs, which are greeting guests and chatting with each other.

Moreover, there are 6 people waiting in front of me. Several have left the line seeing how long it is.

I am trying to understand this roster spread, and can’t help but think, the staff downstairs are better utilised up here. Officeworks on Russell, please roster according to demand.

Normally hate posting bad reviews but one incident was so bad here that I'm still shocked it happened.

We were hoping to replace a banner inside a stand with a new banner design (to save on costs because Officeworks has an overpriced stand at around $250). This way, by changing the banner rather than buying a new banner and stand meant it would cost around 90$. I asked this officeworks multiple times if it was possible to replace the banner within an older stand (1 year old) and on each occassion, they said yes. In this case, when we rocked up, they not only told us rudely that it was impossible, but that the employee (who claimed he had been there for 5 years) and his manager (who had been there for longer) both had never done it before and we would need to soend another 300$ buying a new banner plus stand. I was quite shocked, and they almost convinced what they said was true. I ended up going to Elizabeth Street Officeworks and they did the banner change for 10$. Rude staff and pretentious, have no idea. Never going back again.

Worst customer service ever.. I have called office worse Russell st. I called to enquire about my order. 60 min ago, looks like they have put me on hold mow closed the shop and gone home not bothered that I am on hold.. I can still hear the background noise. Guys this is disgusting nobody deserves to treated like this. I want to lodge a official complaint. Not happy, fuming at the moment. I would have come down personally to pay you a unplesent visit if it wasn't for my sleeping baby. I will definitely see you tomorrow

I have been around a few of the officeworks especially in the city, and Russell Street takes the cake in the service department in the shop for less than five minutes a staff member greeted me professionally. Another staff member assisted me within minutes admitted he couldn't help and provided the team member that had the ability to help me in my requests. Then i had another two members ask for if i needed anything while i was waiting for a staff member to come back with the product, every staff member was profession way better than elizabeth street Elizabeth street could take a leaf out their book from this store.

Went in to get some prints done as well in the same visit the print team was friendly and professional and assisted me with the printing i need done and in a timely manner no complaints from me here.
