Very caring, professional and helpful doctors and admin team that all often have to put up with a lot from angry or rude patients. Some of the things I've seen here aren't very nice so people need to relax a little and realise the staff and docs are all working hard to get to us and help us. The team all do a very good job here and its been a good GP to go to for the past few years. Could not recommend them all enough. Thanks

I can't speak for the practice, but Dr Raymond Khoosal is a very good and knowledgeable doctor who just gets things done.
It's a real shame there aren't more GPs around like him.

Whatever you do, do not see Dr Whiteside. One of the rudest doctors I have ever come across. The first time I saw him he was shocking. Today’s experience was even worse. Went in for an eye condition and told him the current medication I was on (I specified what it was) wasn’t working and asked for a medication which I knew had worked in the past. He refused to give me that and prescribed me something else. I get to the chemist and he had prescribed me with the exact same thing that I said wasn’t working. Waste of time and absolutely terrible doctor.

Useless **** of a place. Booked an appointment to get flu vaccine. Show up on time/early to my scheduled appointment only to be told they are out of stock. No phone call early to let me know in advance they are happy to waste what little free time I had set aside to get this done.

I've been coming to Brunswick Betta Health for a number of years, and I've found all the practitioners friendly, patient, caring, compassionate and helpful: all but one.

I had a truly horrifying experience with Dr. Margarethe Sanders in 2018. She should not be practicing medicine. She is cold, impatient, unfriendly, uninterested, and only concerned about getting you out of her office in ten minutes.

As long as you avoid Dr. Sander you'll receive the help you need, and if you have access to Medicare you won't have to pay a cent for your consult. Hooray for Bulk Billing, and thank you Brunswick Betta Health!

I have the best care here by my Doctor, desk girls and nurses..All very helpful. The only thing wrong is every time they say to hang on on the phone it cuts off. Maybe this is my phone. Have been going for ages and the Chemist right next door is sick and handy. Many thanks Betta.

My rating is entirely dependent on the GP you see. You need to ask for Ghassan Makabawi, Philip Boltin or Dr Khoosal who only works in the morning. All of these doctors are brilliant and thorough. I've seen most of the others and they're all pretty much below standard with lack of empathy, pass the buck (go to accident and emergency, I can't remove this splinter) or pretty much incompetent. One doctor had no idea how to fill out an asthma care plan for my son.

But Dr Makabawi, whilst he can be quick, he is thorough and takes the time required according to the issue. I once spent over $400 over the period of a month at a different clinic trying to get antibiotics for my son who had a respiratory infection. I gave up and took him to Dr M and he ordered x-rays and strong antibiotics. When the results came in, he said he was close to pneumonia. We see him all the time now. Dr Boltin was incredibly comforting when my father died. Dr Khoosal very supportive when I had severe neck pain.

I've been to a few bulk billing places and this one was definitely the best, most professional and one I'd recommend. They were having major problems with the phone lines but the receptionist were still happy and helpful and the doctor I saw was good.

Today I booked an appoitment for 11:20 however I ended up seeing Sridevi Naidu (doctor) at 1. I was feeling ill with a painful back. When I finally got into the doctors room she told me "you walk too much" and said "go home and rest". I felt very neglected and had to pay $75. I will never be using or recommending this clininc again.

I very rarely review places but felt compelled to
today. I go here because it's convenient (close to home, bulk bills, and accepts walk ins) and I find the ladies at the front desk perfectly pleasant if you are pleasant too but twice now I've had a terrible experience with a doctor. I'm a nurse myself so not completely without understanding of the medical aspects of care but twice I have seen a doctor who seems almost unwilling to be helpful. I have no issue with a doctor disagreeing with me in his professional opinion but sometimes the textbook and a parents experience are not the same and the parent shouldn't be ignored or belittled. Today I simply requested a letter for my daughters childcare center just to state what dose of panadol to give her if she spikes a fever while teething, as their centers policy requires it. Instead of simply writing the instructions from the panadol jar into a letter, effectively what I was asking, I was given a lecture on how teething doesn't cause fevers and how he's never done it before. Maybe my child is anomaly, but she has spiked a temp with every tooth, maybe from sleep deprivation caused my tooth cutting, I do the same, but either way, putting ones names on the panadol instructions would have cost him nothing, and saved me a lot trouble. Not impressed with Dr Whiteside.

Coincidental that their online booking service AND their phone service both happen to fail on grand final day? I'll just leave that out there.

Aside from that it has taken me a long time to get to breaking point regarding the multiple bad experiences I have endured from the reception staff (Joyce excluded) but Rebecca you finally succeeded in wearing me down, congratulations you win the award for worst customer service provider EVER. Your systems failed to secure my appointment and you really don't care, YOUR SYSTEMS FAILED. You made no attempt to seek a solution. This is not a nail appointment I'm trying to book. Get out of the healing profession, you need a soul to work in this field.

If I could give less than one star rating I would. This practice is the only one in my area that will still bulk bill me, and so I went there to seek answers for a problem that was moderately serious. My first appointment went ok, and was told to get some blood tests, they came back ok but still needed further investigation, and when I asked for a referral to a specialist, I was told that I would need to come back, and that she couldn't help me now. A referral is simply a letter. I am going to another practice now, as the problem has continued / gotten worse. If you simply need a script, go right ahead, but don't go here if you need actual help.

Choose your doctors very carefully. Do not visit Dr. Markabawi. He misdiagnosed me with a disease among a few other more minor indiscretions.

I'm a local and have never been here. Took my friend that was visiting with severe pain. The professionalism by staff and doctor attending was fantastic. Thank you. They took care of the pain and we are now at emergency with a doctors referral letter.

Great clinic and great service. What I don't understand are the people in the waiting room who don't respond to their name being called immediately. This to me is inexcusable and should result in them missing their turn. I am so hyper-vigilant about my name being called that anything ending in an 'an' sound I leap from my chair.

I can't speak for ongoing medical care as I use this as my back up clinic when I can't get in to my regular GP who is usually booked out days in advance. But for a bulk billed clinic with extended hours its pretty fantastic. I have always been able to get a same day appointment and it is a great service for minor things like script renewal, medical certificates, vaccs and quick check ups. Even with an appointment you can be waiting up to an hour but that is pretty standard for a bulk billed clinic, and is outweighed by the fact that I can always find an appointment same day at a time that suits me so I don't have to take a day off work to see the doctor which is great!
