Contacted the Lube mobile mechanic. The mechanic came down to my place and had a check of the vehicles OBD2 diagnostics information and told me that the car needs to be brought to their workshop in Cranbourne for detailed check and quote. At that point I asked him if they will accept spares provided by me for the repairs or not. This was only because I have a friend who deals with all Merc spares and I could get the spares at a much cheaper rate than the Merc dealer. The mechanic told me that it should not be a problem and also mentioned that there could be a problem with the warranty Lube mobile provides in that case. I then agreed that I do not need the warranty and that I can give that confirmation in writing. Then he confirmed that they can use spares provided by me for the repairs. Consequently I took the car to their workshop. The next day Ii got a call from the workshop advising that the repair will cost $8 to $9K. I then spoke to the gentleman who called about using the spares provided by me and he declined on that saying that Lube mobile works will always have to be with Warranty and hence they will not use parts supplied by the customer. I then suggested that I will take the car back . He agreed to that. The original mechanic who visited had taken $400 as deposit from me. The workshop people then put everything that they had opened up back and told me the car is ready for pick up. I then picked the car back up. After that I spoke to the Manager of the workshop and asked for a refund of any amount from my deposit, deducting the charges for the little bit of opening up work the workshop had done, He agreed to pay me $200 back. It took 3 weeks and 3 follow ups to get that money back finally, on the 06th of May. On the 5th when I spoke to someone I was told that the refund was processed a "week" back which I know now was a wrong information altogether. So, in short these guys might be alright for small & simple tasks like changing the tyre or even changing the oil and filter but definitely not for a task that needs a more professional approach. Somehow the administration of the company does not feel to be a professional one at all ( the main reason for this being someone in the capacity of a Manager lying to a customer about a refund !) Will never even think of using them again ! .. Just for you to know, I did get the job done beautifully by a Mercedez mechanic himself using the spare parts I provided at almost 80% cheaper than the Merc pricing. The overall cost ? not even half the amount Lubemobile quoted ! So, think twice before you make the call to these guys .. They seem to be mainly banking on the "call out fee" of $80.00 !
It was my first time to use Lube Mobile. Very convenient, the mechanic (Beni) explained thoroughly what needed to be done and gave the costs upfront. He pointed out things that should have been done by Kmart/MyCar but apparently not. Beni was very patient explaining and answering all my questions. He was polite and very professional, an asset to Lube Mobile.
Fantastic service from EJ, a bonfide professional and an absolute legend. Would recommend to anyone!!
Mohammad was professional quick and straight to the point got me back on the road in no time
I would not recommend them to anyone.
Good job, nice n easy didn't need to do anything but hand over the keys and wait for the phone call on completion.

Liam (car 36) was amazing fixing my Focus 2008MY convertible. This was a blessing after having so many issues with Ultratune.
Booked a service in yesterday evening and had a Lube Mobile van arrive first thing this morning. Very quick, friendly and professional servicing. Many thanks to Aaron!
I contacted Lube mobile as my friends car wouldn't start. I had replaced the battery but just couldn't get it to work. Ron attended quickly and had the car going in no time. He ran some extra checks to make sure that it wasn't anything major too. Really lovely guy and had a great conversation with him. I would definitely use them again and will reach out to Ron if I need him
THANK YOU Adrian !!!
This was my first experience with a mobile mechanic and I was very impressed with the high standard of service.
Adrian, has a passion for cars, was professional, friendly and explained what the service entailed today.
He offered advice and cleaned up after works were complete.
Would HIGHLY recommend Adrian.
His workmanship is 5 stars ++++
Turned up on time.
Did a great job. Already booked my next service.
I dont need to stress about the car, even the payment they came to my office which is in the CBD and the repair was done in Epping 23 kms awayThanks guy!!!
I have just used Lube Mobile for the first time and found the service excellent and so easy. Booking was quick, followed up by online quote, service was prompt, and the mechanic was helpful and efficient. It is a much better alternative to wasting half a day leaving the car at a dealership or garage and much cheaper as well
Great service. Don't do unnecessary repairs and are honest.
Try others before this joint. My car wouldnt start, a guy charged me $750 to fix it so I had no choice. Every day afterwards it would either stop mid-drive or not start up at all, I called them a few times but they couldn't make it out before I needed to go to work or on a certain day so I said don't worry. But eventually two weeks later it stopped on an off ramp from a freeway on a Monday morning and there was no way to start it again. Tow truck cost me $250 and was told from live mobile they couldn't offer me a refund at all. Unreasonable and paid for nothing.
When I had trouble with my Astra, Lube Mobile's mechanic John was very thorough in finding the issue that was making my car's engine run rough and fixing it properly. Very happy and recommend their services to others.
Brandon (Mobile Code-N16 ) was easily the best mechanic I've met. Outstanding knowledge and quality of work, highly recommended.
Fantastic job Ron. What a legend! My car went from broken down to running like a dream. The price was great for how much work he put into my car. I highly recommend this company.
Ask for Ron, he really knows his stuff and he's a really friendly guy. Quality you can trust. 5 Stars.
Happy with mechanic from lube mobile did a great job nice and clean
This is the second time I have used Lubemobile.
Very pleased with the prompt service and both mechanics were efficient.
I had Lube Mobile carry out a 30,000 km service on a VW Polo. After checking the whole car, seems he forgot to check how he replaced the wheel covers, 1 has come off the car whilst driving to work. VW want to charge me $90 dollars for a set of 4, seems you can't just purchase one from them. No reply as yet from Lube Mobile about it.
Following a diagnosis of a Faulty ECU. Requested a Quote for a replacement ECU to include costs and parts. Really simple other places have been able to do this. Was advised that a diagnosis and quote would cost $88. No mention of having to pay for a quote on their web site. If this is how they act when a simple request costs $88 imagine the kind of cost they will come up with to do the actual work!
