Great hostel that's with intimate friendly communal life mixed with all the conveniences you expect from a big hostel. Staff are friendly and helpful

A great place to stay if you're on a budget. Get to meet a lot of people. Staff is very friendly and there's a free breakfast included with the stay. The other offerings like movie night, pasta night and wine and cheese nights make the place a joy to stay at.

Great place to stay, staff is super friendly and really helpful, rooms and bathrooms are clean, location is just perfect. All you need to enjoy Melbs! I'm always happy to stay here when I'm down in Melbourne, by now since more than two years, guess 'coming back and recommending guests' are enough for a good and honest review. Great location near the station, decently sized rooms with air conditioning, cleanliness is acceptable but could be improved. Overall a friendly place and great for backpackers.

Better than many other back packers, cleaner rooms, hygienic washrooms, focus on cleaning regularly. Kitchen can use some improvement and some beds need maintenance. Overall value for money.

Great place that is just a couple of blocks from the southern cross station to get nearly everywhere. Lots of nice people here from all over the world, great place to meet other people with a great atmosphere. Rooms are comfy too. Free breakfast is great with free flow tea coffee and there is spaghetti night, pancake Sunday much better than some other similar hostels in the area and worth your buck.

2 nights in a 16 bed mixed, I enjoyed it here, nice staff, everything was basic but clean. Cheap stay, comfortable stay, no complaints :)

I stayed here for a week travelling solo. It was alright I appreciated the free pasta on Wednesday and pancakes on Sunday, the free breakfast would have been better if they had more than one toaster. I slept in a 4 person share and it was OK. The bed was pretty comfy. The air con over night was very loud but I appreciated having it. The bathrooms were pretty gross. No where to hang your towel in the shower? Also the majority of people there seemed to be working, I've moved to the YHA down the street and already met three times as many travellers. The saving grace is that its not too expensive but honestly if you're travelling alone I wouldn't recommend it.

Great backpackers! Beds were good, shower was warm. Free breakfast 7-9am and free pancakes on Sunday @ 11am :)
