Stayed for my wife's birthday. They completely did up the room. Rose petals and bubbly. I couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommend

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
In my line of work as a cabin crew, I get to stay in many different hotels in many different countries. I've had the opportunity to stay in both the Radisson and Rendezvous hotel when I'm in Melbourne and I can safely say that I very much prefer the Rendezvous hotel. Firstly, its location is very centralized and very accessible. Getting into the hotel at 10pm after an 8 hour flight from Singapore, all I want to do is rush out to get some food and get straight into bed which is very easy as there are so many places to eat and supermarkets nearby the hotel. Secondly, the rooms are very big and and spacious and has a very extensive variety of things to offer in the minibar. Room service provides excellent food and as a crew, I get a free buffet breakfast and 25% off room service which is great. Also, the staff are all very friendly and and always seen with a smile which really makes it very welcoming to me as a guest. 10/10, would definitely recommend.response / report this review -

Good rooms in a great location. Only stayed for one night so I didn't have the opportunity to investigate any services they offered. The bar looks great, very swank.

Was there for a 2 day training session. The hotel provided wifi used in the session worked without problems. Catering (standard morning / afternoon tea +lunch) was reasonable (but for the price was quite good). Hotel staff were friendly, but i had little need to interact with them, as everything ran smoothly.

The reception, bar and wait team are amazing it's just a shame the hotel lets the team down.
I have never felt more welcomed in a hotel but in saying that I have never been in a hotel where my toilet paper has gotten wet whilst I was showering as the bathroom is that small.

We just spent a night here. Fabulous location, lovely and clean hotel. Marcus at the front desk is amazing. Made us feel so welcome and was so accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

The Rendezvous is in the perfect location to experience Melbourne. It has a tram stop just outside and it's conveniently in the free zone. We stayed here while attending a conference at the convention centre and it's a walkable distance (15 minutes). The room has all the basic amenities and is clean. Not the largest but enough. The hotel is a heritage building with an elegant lobby. My one issue was that the air conditioning was a tad loud. All in all it was a good and enjoyable.response / report this review -

One of the best hotels in Melbourne, undoubtedly. Perfect location, fabulous view of the Yarra and close to everything in the city. Would certainly prefer this next time too. Excellent customer service and nicely furnished room.

It would be a great hotel save for one issue: noise. I'm not sure whether this is just a problem with my particular room but I can hear everything that people in some adjoining room are doing. Loud and clear even when they are having a private quiet conversation between themselves, not to mention other things. This is really problematic. Other than that the hotel is great.

Great hotel with friendly staff that seem to know what you need. Restaurant has a fantastic menu selection and the staff is very attentive and the chefs produce great tasting meals and the ambience allows for a quiet and relaxed dining experience. The mix of modern and old decor takes you from the now to the old with such fluidity and that is something not always done with such grace.

Amazing hotel in the centre of Melbourne.
The staff are very friendly and the in house restaurant offers best quality food and fantastic service.
The restaurant downstairs would the perfect place to celebrate a special dinner.
