A great central location, across road from southern cross station. Used hotel as base to explore Melbourne. Would recommend.

Lovely staff at the front desk! I appreciated being able to leave my bag at the hotel from 9am on the day of checkin so that I didn't have to lug it to the conference centre. Also appreciated the 2 bottles of complimentary water. Would stay again!

The only good thing about this hotel is that it provides a apartment accommodation with a full-service kitchen. The very disappointing downside to this establishment is there breakfast buffet. For $25 you don't necessarily get a typical buffet that you would get in a 3 star hotel. This particular buffet you can only order one main off the menu and the rest is unlimited pastry ham toast spreads and other my new continental dishes. I'm very disappointed at the fact that this is a prime location Hotel with a poor buffet breakfast. Absolutely shocking. In saying that, I will never come here again.

Absolutely great location in CBD! Close to trains, trams (free city loop right at the door), cafe's, shopping nearby, casino and Etihad Stadium within 10 minutes. Terrific and helpful staff. Rooms neat, clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to anyone and of course, would stay here again 👌☺☺

I got a good price but I think others might have had a better experience than me but my room was noisy with an internal (locked) door into the next couples room. I think they must have felt the same as me, because after I made a phone call they spoke noticeably quieter though the hard floor and thin adjoining door really made just normal movements sound like they were in my room. I wore earplugs after that. Also the room was cold, and when I checked the window to see if it was open, there was a huge cob web, and a view of a dingy back alley. It didn't feel very clean. The staff were friendly but the breakfast staff in particular were massively overrun.

Batmans hotel is in great location across from Spencer street train station. Rooms are clean and comfortable and great staff with excellent service.

I've chosen this hotel for it's central location, close to train station. Quality of the room was frankly terrible, air conditioning didn't work and it was very hot, room and bathroom were tiny, window faced some noisy alley. No complimentary water in rooms. The service was quite nice and friendly, smooth check-in and check-out. Overall weak 3 stars.

In a room with a spa bath which is pretty awesome. But the ac is less then ideal. Bed is comfy, with a desk to do work. All round good place to stay

Next to the train and bus station. So easy to get to. Skybus stops close by. Trams even closer. Service and rooms good. Restaurants close by.

Staff are definitely the best asset to the hotel. Friendly, patient and helpful. Price of the economy rooms are totally disproportionate to the quality of the room. Only just clean enough, obviously the bare minimum. Walls in both economy and apartment sections are paper-thin. Can hear everything. This, on top of the unreasonably uncomfortable beds ensures an unfit sleep.

I stayed here over the NY weekend. The staff members were very helpful and took the time to assist with the many questions i had around transport and places to see etc. The location of hotel was great :)
I stayed in economy. Whilst this is a cheaper rate of accommodation the room was very small. So if your doing alot of sight seeing and only needing the room overnight as place to sleep then this is all you need. The room is very basic. Only down fall is its very noisy. Sound travels from the guests next door to you. Also if you come back for a late afternoon nap.forget it..House keeping ladies are very loud talking to each other and slamming the doors of each room behind them which was very annoying and unprofessional as they are not considerate for their guests that are staying there. Lastly our room smelt of smoke when we checked in?TV was not working?
Even though its cheaper i expect no cigarette smell and the TV to be working.response / report this review
