Perfect Location, easy for anyone to get to especially public transport. The Rooms are nice and spacious, really nice lighting & every time I've stayed the bathroom has always got a bath which is Perfect! Restaurants are close by, train station is almost across the road as well as taxis. The facilities are great & the Staff are amazing and always helpful and very lovely. They are definitely such an asset to an already great hotel, and I've stayed at A LOT of Melbourne Hotels. Will always come back here for as long as I can. I'd definitely recommend it.

Room is small, bathroom is old, shower over bath it’s clean no mini bar, tea and coffee making in a wardrobe parking option is miles away and I assume I’ll be paying $20 a night for that privilege hotel located in a tiny back lane and a bit on the scary side !

Very friendly and accommodating staff, rooms are a little small but very clean and tidy. Being a sporting team we had a few guys over 6 foot and the beds were perfect if you were under 6'2, apart from size they were very comfortable. The Roof top terrace was fantastic however closed at 10 am which was a little disappointing, but we moved inside to very compfy lounge/lounge chairs. Overall experience was pretty good.

My stay was very relaxing, the room was small, but I knew that. It had everything I needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower/bathroom was great. Shower was hot, though would probably be a little low for someone taller than me. (which is probably everyone, I'm only 5ft). Having breakfast included was really good and I enjoyed what was on offer. The tv was easy to use and the channel actually matched the guide. Which often in more expensive hotels is not the case. I had a great nights stay. My girlfriend and I are staying again before we fly out to NZ.

    /Room 202
    Pleasant.
    Comfortable bed.
    VG breakfast.
    Pleasant , helpful staff.
Bathroom was set up for disabled so we had a flat shower. Great.
But - with no shelving or storage shelving in the bathroom it was difficult to put our ordinary toilet bags anywhere. After 2 requests we were given a luggage rack with a tray, which served the purpose.

We were happy with our stay. The rooms are small but comfortable. Best of all, we had an excellent sleep because the hotel was not noisy. My only criticism relates to security of the luggage storage room. We left cabin bags there but not in the lockers as we felt that wasn't necessary. We were surprised when we re-entered the hotel to collect our luggage nobody at reception challenged us. It seems to be quite easy for somebody to enter the hotel and access the luggage room without authority.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. It was in a really great location too. Only across the road from the skybus and a 15-20 minute walk from Bourke street mall and Queen Victoria market.
The only thing that I would complain about was the size of the room. It was pretty small, but I didn't mind it too much. The window overlooked a small street of rubbish bins too but that was also pretty insignificant. And with Groupon, it was pretty cheap too: 99 for two people per night.

The Ibis Hotel on Little Bourke offers fantastic value for money. It's my go to place every time I visit Melbourne not only for the excellent service but also it's location. Located only 100m from Southern Cross Station, you can literally land at the airport, hop onto a Skybus and walk in a straight line to the Ibis hotel from the automatic doors of Southern Cross. There are dining options available including an all you can eat breakfast buffet, but due to the multitude of eating options in Melbourne it's an option I pass on.

Because of it's location it's only a short walk to some of the attractions and experiences offered in Melbourne, and there is of course the free City Circle tram that can take you to a few spots.

For those travelling, they offer paid luggage storage to keep everything safe so you're able to check out in the morning and explore some more without the inconvenience of baggage.

A bit worn down these days (Room 403), but still comfortable and clean. Cheery staff and a great location. I got a pretty good rate, so it seemed like reasonable value for money.

Lots of renovations and building in the area, so no parking outside to drop off luggage and a building site that starts up at 7.30 next door (Feb 2017, looks like another year of work). It didn't bother me as I had to get up for work, but if you're looking for a sleep in then probably let the staff know when you check in.
