We stayed in Jumeira Rotana hotel for 5 nights. The location of this hotel is good, because it is near to the Jumeira beach "La Mer". They have transfer to the beach at 09-30. And by taxi it will cost you about 12 AED.
When we came they asked for a credit card to take a deposit which is 600AED.
We eat once the dinner average was about 60 USD and once ordered a soup for our son it is about 15 USD. This was all we spent and never used anything from the bar.
During check out, like usually everything was in a hurry because the bus to the airport was waiting for us. On reception they said that by some reasons they can not use the deposit what they took before(they said it will return now to the card back) and they took another 658 AED. To my regret, I did not have time to argue because the bus was waiting, so I had nothing to do as to give him my card again. So the hotel took about 1258AED for some service we never got or ordered. I can not find other word then robbery.
Even with all pluses of the hotel Jumeira Rotana - I can not advise this hotel or network Rotana to any other people as they can steal your money.
On my personal opinion - with the politics of development like this - after some time they will loose many customers.

Been there a couple of times to visit Boston Bar which a good place to chill with some fun games as well like snooker, darts and table hockey. Staff could be more helpful and friendly and they should start smiling while serving the guests

Decent rooms. Never got mine cleaned, but had 4 knocks on my door at random hours to “check the minibar” and other absurdities in the 48 hours that I stayed.
It’s substandard for a Rotana.

- Shuttles to the beaches & Dubai Mall
- There is a pool
- Good breakfast
- Good Wi-Fi

Please bear in mind, the hotel is a little bit (20-30 min) far away from the main attraction cites. Other than that, our expectations were exceeded.
Highly recommended.

Nice place to stay but a little blemish on their bathrooms. I left my iPad mini2 upon checkout as it was still wall-charging. Even though its just a cheap gadget, they did not return it back to me despite earnest request to find it and ask around cleaning crew. They just totally ignored me. As my things are not safe, I dont think I would ever come back.

A very clean hotel with modern interior. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Our room offered a stunning view of Dubai's skyline. For us it was perfectly located between Dubai Creek, Downtown and Jumeirah Beach with the metro station close by.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Should have learned from the first bad experience here, after waiting 2 hours to check in a year ago I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. This time I was woken up at 1am by the disco in the bar just underneath our room, front desk said it would close soon. Breakfast was underwhelming, and understaffed. I have enjoyed Rotana but will look elsewhere wherever I go next.

we call housekeeping for dental kit, we call 5 times and ask for the same they are sending. Didnt receive after 2 hour and we inform reception and we went out side. After we back nothing has happened.

Rooms were super nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good.

Shower was awesome.

I didn't like that I had to pay for my WiFi service. Also I made 3 international calls and the charges were unfair at all.

For example 1 minute and 30 second cost 30/
5 seconds cost 25 !!!!

It took them long time to check me in even though I came after 2 o'clock pm.
