Elegant hotel. The outdoor entrance area is very spacious, with nice landscape with the large pyramidal water fall facing the entrance elevation. The hotel rooms facing east offer their guests direct view to the horse race. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines including Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, etc.

Fantastic hotel, five stars are not enough. Great location by the horse racetrack makes for stunning views and exciting entertainment.
Bar, terrace and restaurant can all be recommended. Good selection of cocktails to enjoy the scenery and relax.
Asian restaurant (forgot the name) has awesome Dim Sum and Sushi combo, all you can eat. Well done, with great service. They even got my colleague's favorite desert from another restaurant at the same hotel (Omm Ali for connoisseurs).
Had the pleasure of staying here a few years back and was equally impressed with luxurious rooms and overwhelming breakfast selection. Waiter remembered our group after the first day and had a table and our coffee / tea orders ready after the first day. Wow.

If I could give this Hotel 10 stars, I would! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were in shock. The Bell Boys, Valet Parking attendants, Front Desk and Room Service staff were all very professional and greeted us with a smile at all times. The breakfast was average in taste but had a lot of options to choose from. The room quality was beyond expectations, The Hotel is very large and offers great views. The swimming pool was amazing. Gym was great as well. The best thing about this Hotel was the staff which is very rare to find.

A great hotel, very friendly staff. Great location if you have a car. And they even gave me a birthday cake which was delicious.
The breakfast is great and the room service has been exceptional.

This is a grand hotel with a grand entrance and reception. The rooms don't disappoint and they are capacious, airy and all have a racetrack view. They will also arrange tickets to the grandstand if there are races on during your stay.

The breakfast was extensive and the protein selection was impressive. I just wish they had a sauna but their lovely roof top pool made up for it. The kids pool is also adjoined by a playground area.

The gym is well appointed and it has enough for the leisure user. Definitely will stay here again.

Nice hotel with good service and helpful staff, the food quality is also very good and the room sizes are very good. It's a five star hotel so expect the staying rates to be higher than average, and especially in March every year as the Dubai Horse Racing Championship takes place in the course behind the hotel. Although located just 8 minutes away from Downtown Boulevard, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, still considered very secluded and good for guests seeking private stays. Has a very nice night club within the hotel premises.

Meydan Hotel is at the heart of dubai..be sure to have your own car as there is no bus or metro transport around. But the visit is well worth it. It has high dimensional ceiling and great array of Restaurants..plus their staff is super nice and a happy hour in the bar where you get a discount.

This hotel is amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming you to enjoy your stay

Hotel is very clean

Room size is very comfortable

Staff are very kinda

Service is outstanding. Once you request anything they will deliver to you very quick

Breakfast is somehow require for improvement

Swimming pool also wasn’t clean and it’s a need filtration system

Inside the room you will find

- big toilet with all bath tub, shower area

- espresso coffee maker , tea maker , complement water

- big Tv with OSN channels

- Balcony with racetrack view

- In room free WiFi

It is far away little bit from center of Dubai.

This hotel is recommended for staycation and relaxation

All rooms have beautiful racetrack views, tv in the toilet and double showers. Has a Jacuzzi too. Very relaxing / romantic experience. The price is the best thing about this place.

A great place to stay, specially during the Horse Racing time. Rooms are race course facing with Balcony giving great view of the track. Beautifully decorated rooms & good service. A great experience.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best prices around

Reaching there was too confusing, and after reaching the location, the road to entrance was missing sign boards. Guesses what more confusion.
I attended Meydan Hotel, for a wedding reception. Guesses what, the sign board to the reception floor was also missing.
Apart from the initial goof ups, the food was fantastic, the attitude of the staff (even though we know what Dubai work life is), was great.
I would like to hire their venue for any of my future family events.

My job dictates that I travel extensively. Consequently I stay in luxury hotels all over the world. The Meydan is in a class that most other hotels can only dream of. From the luxurious lobby to the spacious and elegant rooms the designers have managed to convey a feel of intense luxury while not going "over-the-top". The rooms are modern with plasma TV's, a remote that controls everything in the room and a wonderful bathroom. The staff is attentive, the restaurant has an expansive menu and the pool is excellent. There are many excellent luxury hotels in Dubai but the Meydan is one of the best. I can't wait to go back.

I stayed at the Meydan hotel April 2015 and it was a delight. The Meydan hotel was very hospitable with all staff members wearing a smile at all times. The food was marvellous, the room was spectacular, and the amenities where kept to a very high standard. I would definitely re visit this hotel on my return to Dubai; and it is an establishment I would highly recommend to friends and family.
