Location and price is wonderful but when I 1st arrived they put me in a smoking room which I didn't request but since I was late arriving they assured me they would put me in a no smoking room. I arrived at 0500 that morning and was put in the non smoking room by 1400.

We enjoyed the buffet CRO resto on the 1st floor of Holiday Inn. If your looking for unlimited isaw (chicken intestine), this is the best place to go!

Cleanliness is quite ok but the facilities were sort of outdated. breakfast is very average only. the hotel lobby is in dire needs of a major make over as it's not very welcoming

Terrible experience.The toilet smells due to leakage..the carpet also smells badly didn't expect such a bad experience from the reputed Holyday inn.We stayed for two dayschanged the room due to toilet issues and the manager suggested a complimentary dinner for usbut we could not eat the supper everything tasted like old and rotten and the whole dining area was of foul smellvery dissatisfied

Short stayjust 3 nights for a business trip. The Holiday Inn Dowtown impressed me with the level of staff training which focussed around the guest. The attitude and positivity made a basic hotel a cozy place to stay in. From Housekeeping to the front desk and to the restaurant, I came away with a good feel at the end of my stay.

I just stayed at this hotel this past week for two days and was very disappointed. This may have been a four star hotel in the distant past, but it is no longer. It appears that very little maintenance is being done. When we arrived, the thermostat in our room did not work. The air conditioning was either all on or all off. I pointed this out immediately (it was night time) and they sent a maintenance person to look at it. He said it had to be replaced and would be replaced the next day. We slept with the a/c all on and the room was very cold, but it was impossibly hot with the a/c off. The next day we went on a day tour of the city and did not arrive back at the hotel until almost 10:00 PM. The thermostat had not been replaced. I asked again to have it changed, but was told it could not happen until the next day. The next day we left the hotel at 9:00 AM and returned at 2:00 PM. The thermostat had not been replaced. As we were leaving that night on a plane at 11:30 PM, I asked if we could have late checkout and was told the only way to have late checkout was to pay for another days charge. So, we had to sit in the hotel lobby from 2:00 PM until we left for the airport at 8:00 PM. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

receptionist are polite and welcoming.. facilities and rooms are the worst thing ever.. black guy in the swimming pool is disgusting all those saliva and cold he putted on the water.. yuck.. me and my friend didnt enjoy the pool we wanted to relax and spend time together but we just end up fighting inside the room because he didnt like everything.. bathroom is dirty.. and i cant blame him.. we just stayed for 4 hours and we just wasted time and money .. i regret i let my friend booked this hotel for me.. 😠 By the way that black guy is a swimming instructor i think.. tell him not to split on the pool and sneeze there.. omg

Good location. Many shops and restaurants nearby. But an old hotel. Needs a lot of renovation. Smaller rooms and not well maintained bathrooms. Food is just 'bout ok. Not upto standard with other Holiday Inns.

Really disappointed with this hotel! Holiday inn generally has high standards and to experience something like this is horrible. On the first night of our stay there was no parking available. The bathroom tub was full of grime �� and so slimy!!! This morning there were drilling sounds in the building which woke us up earlier than usual and now there was a horrible sound coming from the room next door. Truely dissatisfied with this!� False advertising, not a four star hoteland the most they can say is SORRY!�

As a devote IHG Member, I have never seen such a bad Holiday Inn. In fact I suspect that this is a fake one. The staff is excellent, polite and helpful but the rooms are old, bad smelling, dirty carpets etc. If you think you will find a standard holiday inn, you will be really really disappointed. Holiday In Express Jumeirah is far better then here.

Very comfortable large rooms and superb room service. The receptionist were very polite and he helped us to see the city easily with best tours on a good price. Everything seems fine and my experience is good for this hotel. And it's close to some good shops and restaurants as well.
