Service was very good oysters were clean ice cold plum very fresh we all had a great! The forever roll was over top u have to try this place u wount be disappointed

The team here are amazing. Fantastic rolls and creations. They love trying new concepts so if you have something you like, ask I'm sure they can make. The staff is top notch. Easily top place to eat when in Toms River.

Always good food and always crowded.
You can not get a large table reservation even in the dead of winter without a month advance notice! It's crazy busy here! However, small tables and the bar table is squeeze in as someone leaves happy, which is often!
Often the crowd is loud and carefree but always happy! Staff always greets you and smile. Everyone is always happy. I think they are pimping oxygen into the air.response / report this review -

Meticulously prepared food. Delicious. Staff and owner are very friendly. Quality japanese food. Seafoods are fresh. Highly recommended.
The owner even went above and beyond and made sure we are well taken care of and brought us some 'drinks on the house'. It was or first time there and will surely be back again.

Fresh sushi and good service. Hard to get a table during peak hours but still great for takeout. Awesome apps as well. Everyone I've asked has said they had the same experience as well. Hope they're here to stay in Toms River

Friendly shore restaurant for Asian Fusion. Had sushi which was very tasty. Sashimi was too thick and kitchen said they couldn't do any thinner. Great calamari and fried rice dishes. Wait staff was fabulous.

Always packed. A reservation is a must. The sushi rolls are huge, creative and stuffed with fresh fish.
Sushi is not all. Great appetizers like a kobe beef you cook right at your table.
BYOB!
In just a few visits I was able to have every specialty roll. I do wish they'd update the menu. But I keep coming back.
I must say, I do not enjoy the takeout. Twice now I have been disappointed. If you are going to try, eat in!response / report this review -

Food was delicious and portions are large would recommend calling ahead a day or two to get a reservation and although the sushi bar seating is available for walk-ins there is usually a wait there. Place is also BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or some beer if you want a drink with your food. Service is great and hostesses we're welcoming will be coming back later this summer.

As of today, I will no longer eat at Xina. I called and asked to speak with the manager about my order. She was way too argumentative and rude and never apologized for their mistake. I let her know that I wasn't sure if I would remain their customer after this and all she said was "you don't wanna stay with us? That's fine! Bye!" Then she hung up on me. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism from a manager.

Absolutely incredible experience. Great food, amazing atmosphere, impeccable service. Agreeable pricing, I had expected to pay a lot more for this quality. My server Tyesha was personable and friendly, would recommend asking for her at the door. And MAKE RESERVATIONS! This place was filled up by 7 on a Monday in bad weather, which speaks for itself just how popular this place is!!! 6/5 stars if it was possible!

My husband and I live in Matawan and we drive an hour to eat here at least 2 to 3 times a month. Every single thing we have had here is AMAZING. The food is great and the service is just as wonderful. Very active atmosphere and everyone seems to always be having a great time. We also love that the owners are so hands on. I have recommended this restaurant numerous times to others.
