Anytime we drive down from Jax.. Donavans is on our mind. The price is higher than surrounding resturantsBUT it's because the portions are huge! You WILL need a box, or you will be uncomfortably full. The onion rings are as big as my hand! All plates ordered arrive at the same time, and HOT! (Nothing worse than having a meal with noticeably different temps) Even if we can't stop in, we all say "mmmmDonavan's" when we drive past.

Donovan's has been our "Go To" spot for sharing great drinks and fantastic food for several years. It really is nice to go somewhere where everyone knows your name.

The BEST Reuban sandwich ever that I didn't make myself at home from scratch, even then there's was maybe better! They obviously make their own corn beef, I did all and they do, which makes a big difference in the quality. Good Guiness too! The patty melt was also great, wonderful fried pickles, friendly service. Went for lunch and we enjoyed ourselves and had some leftovers foranother meal too. Do try the chips, they are delicious!
