My family and I ate Sunday brunch here today and it was absolutely fabulous. Laszlo was our waiter and he makes a wonderful Bloody Mary, but was also very attentive to our food and clearing our plates when done. There’s a continental breakfast option and then you can get an egg or lunch dish for a little more which was well worth it. All of the food was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. The atmosphere is quaint and lovely, inside and out. Overall the experience was amazing and I look forward to going back for brunch and to try dinner!
The Sunday brunch is very good. You do not need a reservation. The buffet is one price and you can order an entree to go with it for maybe three or four dollars more. I was very impressed. I was with a group of about 12 people and we all had a great time.
The atmosphere outside was lovely, with radiant heaters, lots of sparkly lights, and jazzy holiday music. The inside of the restaurant smelled a little musty, though.
Our food was good but not outstanding, and nothing original. The professionalism of the waitstaff was impressive. However, that professionalism extended to (subtle) consistent upsell efforts all night.
The abundance of holiday lights and attentive service certainly make this a wonderful choice for a romantic occasion. Sitting outside even on a chilly evening was quite comfortable. Food was fine. Two people ordering two different entrées and the sides of green beans and mashed potatoes were identical. That's a lazy chef. Atmosphere gets a 5. Food a three.
This is one of the Victorian houses in Saint Augustine that is now converted into a famous and one of the best restaurant in U.S. There chef special are the best. I always loved their Chilean Sea Bass but seems like this time they didn't have that in the menu. I got the prime rib this time and it was okay. I would suggest sea food at this place over anything else. The waiters are always nice at RainTree
Got to restaurant at 6 for a 7:30 show. Food late. Did not get our meal until 7:25. Our show started at 7:30. We had to box up our filet to go. Very disappointed in Raintree. The waiter was good. Very poor management to wait 1 and a half hours before getting our meal. Not sure I will go back.
The food was good, but the price was a little higher than I expected for what was offered. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. They made an excellent Manhattan.
Chose this restaurant on a recent visit to St. Augustine. Would be hard pressed to find another restaurant like this. Food and service was superb ! Thanks to our server Dennis for his fabulous service and menu recommendations! Escargot and ahi tuna appetizers were delicious. Best beef Wellington I ever ate!!
Had a great meal the other night. The veal and shrimp was out of this world. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Service was exceptional. They add a 15% gratuity, but we added to it for the great service.
Upscale southern ambiance and charm. Cobblestone pathway lit with clear lights. Gingerbread accents on the enclosed wrap around porch is very inviting. Exceptional wait staff and food was worth the slightly higher menu prices. Overall great dining experience.
Superb, we were in St Augustine 3 days and we ate at Raintree 2 evenings. Great servers we had a lady I forgot her name and Dennis awesome server. Food was great, we will certainly go back when we are in the area.
Had a wonderful time. Food was amazing. Service was very professional and helpful. Good place for romantic. Made our anniversary very enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back
I wish I had spoken up and asked to be seated somewhere else. We are a young couple with a baby and were sat in a dark, candle lit room with couples that were enjoying wine and speaking very softly and having a romantic dinnerEveryone gave polite smiles, and said our baby was sweet when she got excited and squealed, but it was very awkward. There was a beautiful bright yellow room with lots of windows and lighting and familiesDefinitely would've been better to have sat us in there.
Despite the server getting my order completely wrong, the salmon was cooked perfectly. My husband's beef tips were over seasoned, but he did like the romaine lettuce. We never got our bread, our sweet tea was weak, and after literally waiting 20 minutes for the check- I got up and explained that it was 9:00, and we really wanted to leave. I don't think we will go back soon, but if we do, we will make sure to sit either in the bright pretty room, or outside. Sorry to give a negative feedback but this is my honest opinion. Many people have raved about this place, but were not impressed with the food and didn't think it was worthy of 5 stars.
The food was good and priced well. The inside dinning was clean. Our server was polite and attentive. The only complaint I have is that the menu I got was in need of a very good cleaning as the pages were pretty dirty. Otherwise I really enjoyed my visit. Will definitely return.
