Wasn't all that. I basically went to try conch fritter wasn't impressed with them not just theirs but them in general. Yes it's more or less a seafood restuarant and I ordered a Angus beef hamburger but it wasn't fresh made it was manufactured and greasy horrible. Husbands shrimp and grits shrimp was over cooked and for this the meal with tip was $71 not worth it. If burger had been fresh handmade patty would have been world of difference but I didn't even finish it. Don't understand the 4 out of 5 stars guess my expectations was to high

This restaurant is on the water and has great views. There's even outside seating inside of what they call birds nests. The food here is excellent and the service is great with friendly staff. We like to come here for breakfast on Sundays. Oh and don't forget reggae Sundays with live music!

Great view. Went for lunch and got a table perched over the intercoastal water way. Fresh seafood. Great service too (Debbie).

Awesome seating. On the water with great views. Get there early and you will get a seat in a tiki hut on the water. The food is great and the prices are very fair. Must try in the St Augustine area.

First let me say the food was great! And our service was amazing! However the manager was horrible! We had a simple question about an offer we saw online about their happy hour- was totally fine with not getting it. The manager Ed comes over and says "so I hear you're on a website I've never heard of" told us that the offer was for the lounge, we were super polite about not getting the offer and he walked away with out another word no "sorry about that" no "enjoy your food" when we still were spending $100+. My fiance and I are both servers we KNOW that his attitude towards us is unacceptable management.

Felt like we all were in a fast food restaurant! Both waitress acted like then they needed our order because then had other people waiting for our table? Food was over breaded and was NOT delicious! WE WILL N O T Be back!!!! Pretty restaurant but Cap's on the Water is MUCH B E T T E R!!! NOT relaxing AT All! Again we will not return!! Caps on the Water is M U C H better!

Loved the environment, however I do wish they took reservations for large groups. Had a group of 9, who wanted to sit outside in a hut ( it would have been a 45 minute wait). Also , they were out of oysters ! Which was almost a deal breaker .. the server made up for it . He suggested great appetizers! Michael provided great service, even while dealing with another difficult table of very inebriated guests. They were very ugly to him because he couldn't serve them alcohol due to them telling him that they were drunk. He handled them cursing him out very well and stayed polite . He is very kind ! Michael served us great drinks , and food . He was very personable and made the best of everything . He is very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks ! This was most of the girls first time there, my second and we will be coming back ! The food is delicious!!!

The food was perfect. Balmy breezes kept us cool on a sunny and warm afternoon. We had fried oysters blackened Wahoo fried gator tail fried shrimp and a Greek salad. Marshall the waiter was really good. Everything out of the kitchen was delicious including key lime pie and butterscotch cheese cake.

The specials are amazing!! The menu is great, too, but the specials!! Was in a party of 12 on an early Friday evening with one waitress who was flawless. Drinks were not watered down. Coming back in August for a weekend stay!

Horrible management. The manager was Rude and sweaty. He had no personality or professionalism. There was disorganization with the staff. We heard him several times berate his employees while we were there. The food was okay at best. One star. And they are lucky they even got that

I had the fried cracker combo. The batter was falling off the fried flounder. The fried oyster was still slimy so some were soggy, some were perfect. Fried shrimp was good & the crab cake was amazing! I should have asked for mashed potatoes instead of French fries & I didn't eat the coleslaw; no flavor. I had the Goombay Punch, if you like rum, it's nice! It's $24 and it's a good portion of food.

Excellent service, nice outdoor atmosphere and music. Enjoyed the Goobay drink. The Fried shrimp (best I've ever had not kidding), lightly battered, sweet and tender. Loved it! I hear the breakfast is great.
