The indoor tables are really a joke for four people. Obviously the owners/servers have not thought to dine themselves to understand that such a small table creates an uncomfortable dining experience, especially with the size serving dishes they use. Two separate servers brought additional dishes and attempted to pile them on the table without offering retrieve the plates already on the table. We had coconut shrimp, sweet potato fries, clam chowder, and blackened snapper special. Food was tasteless, bland and definitely not palatable. Would not recommend and would not return. Harry's is the place to go.
Chef Tom is amazing. The atmosphere is great. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The Lane Snapper was the best I have ever had. The Mediterranean swordfish was a picture of perfection. I wish there was a way to give more than five stars.
We experienced excellent Food, Service and venue. They were serving a special of blackened snapper which was extraordinary. Others in the party enjoyed parmesan encrusted grouper. The appetizers were excellent. we had calamari and a clam / spinach dip. our server was friendly and helpful taking care coordinating the timing of presentation of the meals with power consumption of the appetizers. Fresh coffee and some key lime pie for dessert, also very good.
Nice place to eat outdoors in St Augustine. Has it's own parking lot, live music. Just on the edge of old St Augustine. The local beer was great. Had their fried shrimp, they called it jumbo. Even with the thick batter, it just didn't make it to jumbo. I had better there before. Would return for the ambience
Right in the touristy part of Old St. Augustine, we expected an over priced run-of-mill typical seafood dinner. We were pleasantly surprised with very good menu choices and a few excellent specials that night. The Crabby Mahi was delicious, as well all our meals. We had the white and the red sauce shrimp pastas, shrimp and grits, and the salmon with crab on top. Our waiter was pleasant and very patient with the kids in our party (and distracted adults). Overall a great and surprisingly very good meal, not gourmet, but that be much more $$$ in this town. I would recommend OCW.
We have been several times and loved it but it seems things have changed. Great atmosphere and service ok but food was just horrible. 1/2 cup of Cold lobster soup with no lobster (literallyjust milk) for $6 and bland shrimp pasta that even I could do better. And i never complain. It was really just poor quality and won't go back.
Great view! I only tried to chowder soup which wasn't bad. The service was okay, I asked for a water with lemon and she kept forgetting the lemon, she must have been having a rough day, and she made up for it at the end though so I give her an A for effort. I would suggest they extend the happy hour specials to the upper deck and not just the bar. Overall a great spot to come and view downtown St. Augustine from the upper deck. Also this venue is reasonably priced for the area!
So glad they bounced back quick after Irma. This place was delicious and the patio is beautiful!!
Our server Taylor was very knowledgeable on the specials. I appreciate them being able to accommodate my dog.
We hosted our newlywed brunch here the morning after our wedding. This was the only place we could find in the historic district of St. Augustine that could host more than 30 people. Our final count was about 85 for brunch, and OC White's handled our large party seamlessly. The breakfast buffet was amazing - everyone was raving about the french toast and the fresh home-style potatoes. The fresh fruit was also extremely fresh and juicy! We had never previously attended their Sunday brunch, so we were nervous about how the newlywed brunch would turn out, but our expectations were greatly exceeded. We will be sure to come by for Sunday brunch during our future visits to St. Augustine.
Nice Restaurant with good food and friendly service. Menu is a bit small but the food we had was very good. The portions could be bigger
8 of us visited this little gem on our vacation and loved the food and experience. Crab, surf and turf and coconut shrimp all so delicious. Live music that was relaxing and outdoor seating that was enchanting. Absolutely loved this place.
This place has the best seafood in St. Augustine! I have NEVER been disappointed. My compliments to the chef! 😁
Nice ambiance with the outdoor tables, umbrellas and lighting. The outdoor deck overlooking the patio below and street was very quaint. Salmon was a bit overcooked with a few moist bites in the middle. Salmon, one of my favs, needs to be moist all the way to the outside and seasoned just right, so asked for a dipping sauce to help. The rice was salty, broccoli was tasty! Shrimp & grits ok. Wine was good 🍷. When asking server what dish they were known for, he informed me that "a lot of tourists come here"not the answer I was looking for! Wait staff is very young from hostess to server. Hostesses were not friendly..at all. Our server was very nice and attentive. Summer hires 😎 Go, eat, drink, and be merry!
Crab Cakes although touted as amazing were simply blah and oily tasting. At least not fishy. No roumalde, that is usually with it. Simply so so tartar. What a way to yuck it. Very pricey for two lonely, small salty cakes, $10.95
Crab Chowder..Luke warm and WHERE'S THE CRAB!
FRIED Chicken Sandwich . Tasty and thick. Sparse wilted pieces of lettuce, nice slice tomato.
