They have nice staff members but let me just say that i just walked out of that place and i am currently in more pain than i was before. They don't know anything about listening to the patient i went in for severe pain in my side to the point where i can barely walk and they gave me nausea pills and told me to follow up with my doctor while saying i probably just pulled a muscle in my back and i was confused. Thats the 23rd time they have told me nothing was wrong when there obviously is something wrong. Im not rich and i dont have a lot of money to drive to radford ER so im forced to go here and i hate it! This hospital never does anything that truly helps!!!

While traveling my 8 month old became very congested and started wheezing, my primary told me he needed to be seen ASAP so I ended up at Wythe ER. I was very scared and anxious but the staff was very caring and truly genuine which reassured me thay everything was going to be okay. I'm so grateful for the care my baby received!

I had a bicycle accident while visiting the area and broke my collarbone. Every process from check in to checkout was top-notch. Everyone was caring and professional. They took good care of me and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

I truly believe that the ER doctor ordered a bunch of tests that I did not need and I think they did it to run the bill up on me and my insurance. My symptoms? Extreme nausea/vomiting. The tests? EKG, XRAY of the chest, CT of the head etc. Followup diagnosis with my PC 4 days later, food poisoning. Turns out a double dose of Zofran was all I needed to stop the nausea, it took 6 hours to get that!

I was in a very bad car accident driving through Virginia. I was sent to Wythe Community Hospital. The staff was AMAZING! They were extremely supportive, helpful, they really cared about me and made me feel safe and comfortable. I had to stay and then move to a hotel. They took care of finding and getting me a room, and getting me a rental car. They took amazing care of me! Thank you for making me feel safe.

This is a mediocre hospital that you should only use in the event of an​ extreme catastrophe. If you need quality care, travel to Blacksburg, Roanoke or Abingdon.

Great staff and nurses. Never a long wait. One surgeon, however, may be in over his head. My knee surgery was a disaster. My walking days are over.

I would not advise anyone coming here. I had to take my step daughter here and although they were okay with us and some of the staff here are great, others not so much. A woman came running in crying that her husband was having severe chest pains and needed a nurse. Registration did their job and called it back to the nurses.. 20 minutes later. A nurse comes out and says did anyone get the chest pains? The woman comes in trying to carry her husband who is clearly stroking and the nurses take an additional 10 minutes to get a wheel chair. The man could have died. It was all I could to pray for the man. The nurse standing there didn't even try to help him , she watched his wife and my fiancee picthed in to hold him up. Shame.

Do NOT go here unless it is an absolute emergency! You will not get the care that you need, especially if you're an elderly patient. If you want to die, then you've found the perfect hospital for it. It's advised that you take a loved one to Bristol or Roanoke. If you're reading this and haven't been here, then avoid it AT ALL COSTS! Please take the extra time and visit one of the other two choices. If you ask the Wythe County population about their experiences here, then it should be shocking that this place is able to maintain above 3 stars as an average rating. DON'T take this lightly
