I am an ER nurse in Northern Virginia. My daughter is in college@ Radford. She went to the emergency room due to injury. I had to call the ER twice to ask for pain medicine for her and a sling for her arm. I was told by the charge nurse in a rude tone that they were very busy. I am aware of busy, because I am also a nurse in an emergency room. I expect you to take care of my kid when I can't. Where's the professionalism? I would have your back if I were taking carr of your kid and you were 4 hours away.

Had out patient colonoscopy, top flight, all around highly profession, competent and had great empathy. Would not hesitate to recommend. Dr Gohill excellent as was anaesthesiologist, anesthetist and all nurses and admin folks and support staff. And free valet parking. Just wish they all were closer to home.

We had our daughter here and had a great experience. The staff was nice and accommodating and the food was actually pretty good. The room was really big as well.

Best hospital and doctors we have been associated with, the folks there have taken excellent care of both of us and we are 80 years old looking for at least 10 more years. Each doctor and nurse and person we had dealings with provided the best care and were very caring individuals.

They saved my life by diagnosing undefined heart attack. However, could not treat me due to inadequate staff so had to be transferred elsewhere. New and large hospital.

Don't listen to the high reviews i'm sure they are a scam! Worst ER. Everyone is young with no experience. Lazy and careless. Waste of time and money. DO NOT GO HERE!

Back in 2014 I was having a reaction to a medication I was taking that was very concerning. I went to the ER around 7pm to be admitted because I was concerned for my health. I spoke to the receptionist briefly and asked me a few questions and put me on the "list". Around 10pm I had yet to make any real progress as far as being admitted so I just walked out. If I was going to die I was going to die at my apartment instead of their waiting room.

Flash forward 3 years later I get a phone call from a collection agency for $28 from the radiology department at the hospital. I laughed because I assumed it was a scam. I called the hospital and they said they had turned me into collections for a delinquent bill. They wouldn't send me a copy of the invoice which was unsettling. when I asked what I was being charged for they just referred me to the collection agency who didn't have any real information either. Anyway, if you talk to anyone that works there just hand them $28 because that's what it costs for 2 minutes of their time. There's a reason they're known as the evil empire.

This hospital is unbelievable waited 45minutes to be put in a room. Meanwhile in the waiting room the nurse doing triage chats the whole time with other people about nothingwhile I'm waiting with my husband who's having heart palpitations! Then in the room there's bloody needles sticking out of the biohazard box on the wall!
