This hospital is anything but a hospital. In my experience it would be described more as a substandard urgent care. While I was there my BP was 114/47 I had been falling and having other symptoms we were asked why we were there? What a question. They forgot about us. Nothing was done to ease the pain I was in. I would never go back no matter how sick I was. This hospital has no improved at at all and the care is terrible.

We are from Florida staying in Fair Play, SC, on Sunday 10/22 my 93 year old dad had taken a nasty fall. We drove him to St. Mary's Heart Hospital there was no one waiting in the ER they started on dad right away the staff was very professional and very friendly. Start to finish with x-rays and cat scans took 3 hours we were very pleased with St. Mary's.

If no stars was option I would pick that. ER is a joke. Billing department is even worse. Get an itemized bill if you visit. Will never use this hospital again. Will make the drive to Athens.

    First time.
Visit and from people we spoke to , it was "TY COBB" HOSPITAL AND SINCE ST MARYS HAS TAKEN OVER SERVICE IS MUCH BETTER. THEY TREATED MY WIFE FOR A MIGRAINE AND GAVE HER SINCERE RESPECT AND ATTENTION.
THE STAFF AND DOCTORS WERE VERY
KNOWLEDGEABLE AS TO HER MANGIANOMA TUMOR AND MIGRAINE. THE MEDS WENT TO WORK QUIVKLY AND WE WERE ABLE TO LEAVE UNDER TWO HOURS.
WE THANK ALL AT ST MARY'S

Sorriest hospital I ever been to, what kind of DR's do they have that can tell a patient not to come back? If I can't find another hospital I'll die before I go back there because I'm plum discouraged against going there anymore!
It's a real shame for a person to be afraid to go get help when they really need it and these DR's need to remember the oath's they took!!
Who are you to tell me I can't come and get help when I need it?! I know the signs, severe chest pain, numbness and tingling in the arm all on the left side, I have the DR's rude remarks and comments recorded and best hope nothing happens to me!! And if it's not serious why was I admitted the first visit from chest pain.

Honestly don't even think this place deserves a whole star!! Went to ER today because of have burning pain on my back and couldn't get appt with my family dr. They got me back quickly and I gave them my list of medicines and my health conditions got my vitals and sent me to a room. Nurse practitioner came in asked what meds I was on told her I have them a list. Looked at me and said she would go talk to Dr about situations. Male nurse comes in asks me the same thing looks at me then asks who the man with me was and leaves. Practitioner comes back and says dr says can't be shingles bc it's my whole back and that bc of my severity of my auto immune disease and other health issues they can't help me any further!!!!! Said they would give me Benadryl and Tylenol 3 but to follow up with my family practitioner!!! My family Dr sent me there!!! Never seen the Dr myself and I am wondering why no lab work was done???? I could get better help from a plumber installing a HVAC unit than those people! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Contacting the management office tomorrow!

My grandmother went came to this hospital yesterday because she was having symptoms of a STROKE. She told them her symptoms and they ran ZERO test on her and sent her home saying she had an urinary tract infection. My grandmother became worse and her face began drooping. The family called the ambulance once more and they were upset saying they'd already been to her house about this problem. So a family member got them to take her again and asked them to take her to a different hospital. They found out with in the hours of her going to this specific hospital she had a massive STROKE. Now she may have a blood clot, and will have to have therapy to get her feeling back in her leg and arm OR she will be paralyzed for the rest of her life. So please consider going to a different hospital

Hands down the best hospital on the planet.
Was treated like I was royalty. Jason in the ER was awesome. Hope I don't ever get sick again but if I do I hope it's when I am at my place in Florida and not here in Atlanta.
