Went to the emergency room around 8 p.m sat there in the waiting room for about an hour then they called me back to check my vitals and get my info then sent me back to the waiting room and people that came in hours after me kept getting called back to a room so I go ask the nurse how much longer until they call me back and all the lady says is when they get an open bed. Smh. I sat there until after 3 a.m and finally got fed up with it. Some one could be dying in that waiting room and they wouldn't care!! This place is a joke!

I went to this ER for a swollen face and was just given antibiotics and made to feel like a drug seeker. I've been to hospitals a lot but that's due to a chronic pain condition that I have, trigeminal neuralgia, also known as SUICIDE DISEASE. If you're really in trouble and need help, they'll help you. No question. But, if you're like me, and been there a lot due to pain that gets out of control, despite whether they tell you to come back if that happens, I would suggest your time is better spent elsewhere. Like, at Wal-Mart.

The worse hospital in our area. I have had several trips there in the ER lately. My god what a night mare . I am now about to have a break down trying to get some help with a Medicare form to get money back after I pay it. My doctor has been trying to order a MRI told be about 2 weeks. Going to Bluefield Va. I am sure you hear this a lot. SO LONG

Some really great nurses, but overall, this hospital sucks! They will not let my mom check out. I've told them I want to take her somewhere else. They can't fix whatever it is, and I'm sick of the runaround. Tomorrow will be one week since she walked in the door. I truly regret not taking her to LewisGale Montgomery or Radford. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!

Slow, but what emergency room isnt. They pick and choose who they want to focus their attention on. Excellent for expectant mothers tho.

Staff seems to care, and work hard to provide care. Like any medical facility you have good people and not so good. The bad seem to give the good black eyes. The Emergency facilities are swift and genuinely caring. The build is kept up well, it's clean and the equipment kept up to date. This said if your loved one is here, keep an eye on their care. Simple lack of cautionary task has lead to infections like staphylococcus. This problem is a growing national crisis.
