It's very beautiful here and the apartment that we stayed in is very nice, has everything we needed. Super clean and comfortable. We have never stayed here before but it's very nice. The only thing that was upsetting was the amenities weren't explained properly as our kids went to play basketball and were told it closed early and that we had to pay. They were very excited but that put a damper on that day. The playground was great and the outside basketball court was great for energy. Beautiful scenery.

This place is amazing! The customer service is top notch, the lock off room we stayed in, was more than comfortable for our family. We will definitely come back and vacation here again!!

The overall stay is very nice. The amenities are great. My only complaint is that the smaller twin beds are much smaller than a traditional twin bed.

Here it is, Christmas Eve, we just to 5 looked outside and we saw fresh snow on the ground. We have a wood fire going in the fireplace and are sipping freshly made ice teas. Can't ask for better than that. Great Christmas !!!!!!!

We love this resort. Clean and private setting without any of the big city normalcy of today's society. Local and relaxing to help keep the fundamentals of the quality of life in our relationship bound tight.

I didn't really care for this resort. First, the townhouses/rooms are a pretty good driving distance from the check in building. The townhouses were spacious, and I loved the kitchen, hot tub, porch, and beds. However, the room was extremely echo-ey, the pillows were terrible, they were tiny and squishy and felt like no pillow at all was inside. Plus, either my neighbors were the loudest people in the world, or the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear every little thing my neighbors did when they woke up at 4am.

Also the pools are only open from 10am-7pm??? So if you want to swim before checking out, you can't at all.

    I'll probably never return.

Lots of family friendly activities. We enjoyed the lakes, hiking, tennis, and the pool. One set of rooms was a little dated but it was still comfortable and cozy. The 4 bedroom units were recently renovated and worked very well for a family of 4. We would stay again.

Not kid friendly. Lots of Ticks. 4 mile to outdoor pool. Incompetent staff. Pushy sales people. Read on…

Not kid friendly. You must drive to everything, even on the "resort", this includes the indoor pool. Also the outdoor pool is 4 miles down the road. The closer outdoor pool is under construction, but that one is still 2 miles away, I am not exaggerating.

The place has lots of ticks, do not go near the woods or let your kids play at the playground. And I am talking about deer ticks, of all ticks. I had to take my 6 year old to the doctor after I removed a deer tick from his groin. I am praying he does not get lyme disease.

Also while we were there they screwed up our reservation and we got locked out of our room for about an hour. Good thing we only had 4 kids with us at the time… But it could have been worse, while I was talking to some people at the 4 mile away outdoor pool, I found out a similar thing had happen to them. But they were gone most of the day, and the “resort” removed all the stuff from their rooms, and threw out all their food. Yeah, so, at Wyndham it can and often does get even worse.

The only reason you would go to this place is if you are a golfer. I did not golf while I was there so I can’t say if the course were actually worth it. But I am sure there are better located golf courses than this place, where you can actually walk to your pool and not get bit by a tick. Also, the normal hotels in the area are much cheaper and nicer than this place. So even if you are a golfer I can’t imagine why you would stay here.

Also, this is a time share place and the sales people are very pushy, so if you want your vacation to be full of pushy stressful sales people then this is the place for you, enjoy.

This is a great resort for specific occasions. Other than family lake activities, this resort really is not the place to bring children. This is a quiet, peaceful area meant for relaxation and quality time with someone you love. Not only will kids not particularly enjoy this resort, but other guests who want to be away from kids will not enjoy their presence. This is a relaxation resort rather than a fun-filled activity resort. Please be aware that the website oversells the activities available on this resort. For activities, you'll have to drive 1-2 hours from the resort to find something, like shopping. The land is absolutely beautiful. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the lack of communication and information about amenities and locations.

There is a lot to say here. The grounds are largely immaculate despite being so expansive. The staff almost entirely are very professional and friendly. While I did not try golfing, tennis, or other major activities, their appearance was notable and impressive. The community pool was also very nice and clean, but especially loud because of the crowd and the nature of the building. Our rented room was 1114A and was well-furnished, clean, comfortable, and also romantic with a Jacuzzi, fireplace, and back patio facing a wooded golf tee. Local man-made lakes offer peaceful scenery. Two wineries are close by as well as a handful of highly-rated restaurants. Wilderness walking trails are available throughout the property. My four days was not enough to do it all.
