The Inn is beautiful, set on a gorgeous lake and surrounded by beautiful countryside. This was our second visit, and enjoyed the Cardinal Suite very much. Unfortunately , The dinner this time left much to be desired. I am not one to complain, but when I’m paying top dollar for meal, I expect to be blown away. To their credit, when I mentioned the poor quality of the meal , They refunded our money. I would say they have excellent customer service and care very much that their guests have a nice stay.

Stayed at the Whitestone Inn on Nov 1-2. Check-in Staff was friendly, food was great, restaurant wait staff was very good. Could not ask for a friendlier place. Quiet and serene. We stayed in the Barn. Room needed a lot of updating. All major buildings needed exterior cleaning. Overall nice experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Whitestone Country Inn! Our room was beautiful and the view so peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and so much more than we were expecting. Our only regret is that we only had arranged to stay one night! Next time we want to stay longer!

Whitestone was an amazing place to stay. We had a couples retreat with our church and they were very accommodating. They provided appropriate rooms and meeting space, including snacks as requested. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious! The rooms were all unique and very nice. Each one is themed after a different bird species making them particularly interesting and memorable. The facilities were nice and included a rec room with fireplace to sit around, board games, pool table, etc. Too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. There were benches located all over the grounds to watch the wildlife, or eat a picnic lunch prepared by the kitchen. We enjoyed watching the horses and some deer outside while we waited for dinner one evening. We also enjoyed walking along Watts Bar Reservoir which Whitestone overlooks. We saw four adult bald eagles and heard common loons calling. Perhaps best of all was the Christian family friendly environment. This was our second stay and I'm sure we'll be back.

A beautiful place to stay! Peaceful and the staff is awesome the breakfast was wonderful! We stayed in the Cardinal room and it was very big and comfy. We cannot wait to go back. A beautiful spot to get married.

The best B&B I have ever been to! The atmosphere was relaxing and plenty of activities to do if you want to. And plenty of spaces to relax. The food is amazing. The best bacon I have ever eaten! The staff was very nice and warm hearted!

Our stay during our girls golf weekend was nothing less than perfect! The only way it could be better is if there was a golf course on site! So relaxing and our meals were excellent! The entire staff went out of their way to provide a perfect stay! We shall return! Thank you, Whitestone!

If I could give ten stars I would! I had my wedding there this August, and it was beyond amazing. Everyone at Whitestone is lovely. The location is perfect for a getaway. Even the atmosphere is just peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to Tonja and Marlee who helped my goofy self plan a wedding. They were utterly fantastic. Marlee was our coordinator the day of and all of our guests loved her! We stayed for two nights and I have been comparing every place we have stayed at since and none compare. Absolutely, hands-down the BEST place my husband and I have been. We will be treasuring our memories of Whitestone for the years to come. I would recommend it to everyone!

I attended a dinner there. My party and I were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was very peaceful. I enjoyed seeing the humming birds that flew within inches (glass separated the birds from the people) of people.

Recently our Worship and Music Staff had their yearly staff meeting at Whitestone. It was a wonderful day! The room that was provided for us was exactly what we needed. The attention to detail was outstanding. Everyone on staff commented on the delicious food and the atmosphere. Thank you for allowing us to spend the day with you. We look forward to bringing back our staff next year.

We really enjoyed our stay here-beautiful grounds along the lake and many nice options for rooms. Our room (Indigo Bunting Suite) was really large and the bathroom was big as well. The breakfast was good. We also enjoyed the hiking trails down to the lake.

Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful property. Just what we needed. If you go be sure to take out the canoe on the lake. Try it you will like it!
I gave a 4 stars as the food is good but not great and while we had a wonderful time and will definitely come back, I would encourage Whitestone to update the canoe and paddle boat a bit but do not let that deter you from going! Look forward to a fall visit!response / report this review -

Lovely experience at each visit. Beautiful scenery. The best spa. Aromatic essential oils and hot stones used in all massages! Excellent food. The best vegetarian/vegan options for the area. Great place if you have a food allergy.

Beautiful setting, very mediocre food. The property is beautiful and overlooks a lake. Our room (one of the higher priced rooms) was nice. The food is justunderwhelming, edible. Our dinner was served with frozen vegetables and a salad smothered in ranch dressing. Breakfast was supposedly a frittata but it did not taste or look like eggs, it tasted like some kind of green rubbery plastic topped with cheese. Second days breakfast was fake eggs, similar to a hotel (such as Hampton inn, etc) continental breakfast. 😱The dinner cost $60 (not at all worth this much) so we decided to go elsewhere for dinner the second night (requires a 30-45 min drive and few decent or nice places close by). Also Whitestone Inn does not serve alcohol which we were not aware of. Our waiter told us this is because it is a "christian-based establishment". Just would have been nice to know ahead of time that we could BYOB. Also the ambience in the dining room leaves something to be desired. Bad lighting and hideous fake flowers on the tables.
Would not recommend this place due to the food and the very expensive cost of the rooms; not worth the price.response / report this review
