Visited the Edisto Beach location. Staff was helpful and nice. Please understand that this is a getaway and there really aren't any attractions on Edisto other than a quiet beach. Service was quick and understandable. They are going through a renovation process and is excited about what's to come

This is our type.of vacation getting away and leaving the crowds. We are here in off season and it fits us perfectly. Weather is also good compared.to what we left up North. Looking forward to seeing more nature while visiting. "Edi-SLOW Island" is what the locals call it.

The customer service is the Worst I have ever experienced. Everything that I was assure would be in the unit, including an elevator since my husband was having Open-Heart surgery and couldn't walk stairs, was NOT ACCOMMODATED. The unit had an elevator, but it was broken and rusted, the unit was dirty with dirty clothes and trash thrown by the steps. Pictures attached of mold that was covered areas of the master bath. A picture of our water front view.I called management, I was told I was wrong, they can't do anything about it. I explained my situation and reasoning for needing the accommodations was medical/health related, not just because I was lazy, and they still said they couldn't do anything.
I was told the unit would be waterfront, NOT.
This was supposed to be a relaxing week before my husband had to have Open-Heart surgery. It was a nightmare. It cost me thousands of dollars in hotel rooms, gas, and Hospital Emergency Rooms. We were 10+ hours from home and my husband was so upset his BP was through the roof and minor attacks on the drive back.
I was offered $100 gas card for my troubles.
I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS RESORT - FOR THAT MATTER SEVERAL WYNDHAM RESORTS. Horrible Service.

We stayed at Marsh Point and found the accommodations to be acceptable. After the storm Matthew the units were rebuilt and are newer now. Edisto Island is very relaxing and we recommend finding at Whaley. The Bar Tender was just selected to the Bar Tender Hall of Fame so he knows his business. The beaches are being fixed back up at the last storm but okay otherwise. Biking around the island is the best but there are Golf Carts too.

Very quiet, relaxing you can ride your bikes anywhere from there. Scenery was wonderful older building but kept up well and I could see where they were doing renovations. Customer service was excellent and unit very clean only disappointment was hot tub was not at this facility and you had to go to a different Wyndham and when you always got to that one to use the hot tub there was always people in it and believe me it's a small hot tub three grown man about all I can fit in it.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 day trip to Edisto Island. The room was clean and the bed provided the best night sleep we have had in a long time. The staff was great and very attentive to our needs. The highlight was the shrimp boil. It was the best.
I know some bad review have been posted. But we really did have a good time and look forward to returning. (Keep in mind, the dishes and trash really should be taken care of by you - not the staff.)

A total of 6 adults stayed in a deluxe 2-bedroom in August. The suite was nice with ample space. It was a little light on available outlets, so come prepared. Full kitchen had pots and pans ready for use. Our room was in the Village section, which did not seem ADA accessible, but other areas may have been. The pool and hot tub nearby were nice. Edisto Beach is a small community, so it is a good idea to come with your own groceries.

Very laid back. Our condo was old and outdated. Not very clean. This resort is not on the ocean. You have to walk or drive there. About 50 minutes to Charleston. The front office girls were very nice. 3 swimming pools, putt putt and other activities. I heard that Wyndham was renovating the units. If you want a quiet, laid back island, this is it.

Had a greatvstay here at Christmas. Rooms are very large and very nicely furnished. Beds are very comfortable and the ocean front rooms have a spectacular view. Activities offered at the resort are phenomenal and the ocean front fire pit is a bonus for evening gatherings.

This is our fourth trip. We always call Atwood and we always come here. Sea Cloud cottages are sooo very nice.

Not pleased with this resort at all. Rooms were dirty with hair in tubs, crumbs on floors and dryer lint dust on the bathroom floor. Guest services not responsive, called and called front desk and no response and no voicemail.***update**we were able to speak to the manager who was accommodating and will address all of our concerns.

Room is beautiful, guest services nice. Not enough towels and wash cloths, room recently renovated but whirlpool tub not working due to faulty ground fault breaker. Replaced the next day by maintenance. Took over 1.5 hours to get extra towels and bath cloths. Resort is lovely. Would come back again. I am a Wyndham owner.

Our family has always loved Wyndham Ocean Ridge, due to a variety of housing options, multiple pools, quiet/secluded beaches, and great seafood restaurants in the area. Right now, however, much is in disarray because of Hurricane Matthew damage - activity center, main pool, beach cabana, and some unit buildings all closed for repair. Positive result of hurricane is that damaged areas are being completely refurbished and, once done, will be more beautiful and functional than before. If you don't like the seclusion and quiet atmosphere (there is only one "real" grocery store on the island), Charleston and Savanah are both just about an hour away. Lots of historical and fun things to do on day trips.
