I had high hopes with this being a new hotel but I was in for a huge let down. From the cereal on the floor next to a piece of trash, clearly visible, to no liners in the trashcan, the bottom of the ice try having what looks like dried mold to hair on the chair. And a lot of it. Shiny, long blonde hair on a brown velvet chair. Easily seen to the naked eye. This place is 3 steps down from my usual place, Courtyard by Marriott. This is a one and done for me.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It sits back off of Hwy 78 on the campus of Charleston Southern so you are secluded from traffic. You can see the interstate but noise was not an issue. The provided hot breakfast was great! Included waffle makers, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurts, milk, orange and apple juice, and assortment of fruit. The provided luggage carts are very nice for taking luggage to the rooms. Also, this hotel is not in the hustle and bustle of the city but one can easily make it to downtown in approx 20 - 30 minutes depending on traffic.

I loved this hotel. I arrived a couple of hours prior to my check in time and Melody was more than willing to see if there were rooms ready that I could check in to. Even though it's located beside a college and Interstate 26, it was very quiet and peaceful. It's also not a bad commute to downtown Charleston, which will save you some money in the long run. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit the Charleston area.

Lovely hotel, with clean, new rooms and comfortable beds. Absolutly no noise from the highway nearby. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Location was ideal, room was nice and clean, breakfast was good, didn't have to stop to check out. Every employee we came into contact with was friendly. Since our child is at the school, I'm sure we'll be frequent visitors

Everything was nice. Used the gym, and it was pretty solid, and complimentary breakfast was good and versatile. Room and bathroom we're good sized and bed was comfy. Definitely good for the price.

This is the third time we've stayed here and we love it! The rooms are always clean as is the lobby and breakfast area. The workers have always been very nice and helpful. Hoping to get to come back in the future.

The lady working the desk on Friday night very nice very polite called her ask her if they had Coke Zero she said they do not have Coke Zero in the machines or in the lobby but she's going to get Cokes hero for the hotel from now on she has people asking for it besides that very nice very polite very quiet very clean

Terrible for business travel!

Booked a room online for an employee who was needed in Charleston ASAP, last minute, for a week. He arrived on a holiday, Memorial Day, and the check-in staff refused to let him check in under the card I had booked the room under. They wanted him to pay out of pocket for the entire stay.

I called the hotel and asked if they could email me a credit card authorization form, NOPE - they only fax AND they were going to require the credit card front AND back AND my ID be included in the fax. Extremely sketchy.

I would avoid this hotel, there are many other hotels hat protect my data and understand how to email.

Very friendly courteous staff. Ample parking. Convenient to activities and locations in North Charleston as well as the highway into downtown. Comfy and clean. Hot water is quick and never runs out.

I delivered wedding flowers for a wedding taking place there. The room itself was nice however the kitchen and prep area was overly warm and the refrigerator was locked with a chain and padlock???? Not very good customer service. They booked the room, but locking caterers and florists who need access? Not a good business practice

The room was quiet and comfortable. The check-in was pleasant and simple. After a long day of sightseeing, We just wanted to relax. When we pulled back the bed linens, it was obvious that the sheets had not been changed. I called the front desk around 9pm to let them know. The option I got was to come to the front desk, pick-up new sheets and remake the bed myself. With only one staff on duty, he couldn't even bring them up. Breakfast in the morning was good, except the coffee was undrinkable. I picked this hotel because it had the best reviews in the area.
