Rooms were clean. Location to subway was reasonable with easy access to midtown. It was also nice to leave manhatten and explore long island city.

Over all not a bad hotel but both times I have stayed here the staff has been extremely rude and unhelpful. Also, walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything, even normal level conversation which is not great when you have to wake up early but can't get any piece and quiet.

Decent hotel, good location. It has been modernized inside but put horrible blackout curtains that are cut above the window sill. If you are sensitive to light you will definitely want to bring your eye mask. It is also pretty noisy as well earplugs wouldn't hurt either. The breakfast buffet is not good. Low quality food products. Hotel staff is very nice and friendly and helpful. Free bottle of water in the room + a mini fridge and good coffee are definitely +'s.

New York real estate is notorious for small, closet-like spaces offered at high prices. So that's already one minus going in. That said, I really like this little hotel. I do think they'd avoid a lot of trouble by taking away that "manhattan view" part in the name as it's super misleading. The only view is of the Queensborough Bridge. But I guess that's not as catchy. Also, you'd think that an executive suite would come with a mini fridge. Nope! If you want a fridge, you may have to risk a room facing the wall of the adjacent building. Still, I enjoyed my stay regardless. There's a restaurant downstairs, but I just used Seamless as there are excellent food offerings in the neighborhood. Only, because of the restaurant downstairs, they won't allow the delivery person up to your door. Vending machine in the basement takes credit cards. Really cool little out of the way spot near mass transportation.

It was a very nice hotel room but the price was astronomical, and the hotel is is the ghetto And on top of it being in a horrible area, the guy at the front desk took almost 10 minutes to check us in with no line, after telling us we didn't have a reservation, when we did he didn't know how to work the system then he tried to double charge us for one night was already $200 this guy shouldn't have been at the desk unsupervised. We won't be staying here again.

Clean rooms. Everything seems recently updated as well. However, housekeeping started knocking on the door very early and the front desk started calling us at noon to get us to leave. Front desk manager then hung up on us where we let them know we were heading out the door. I get the check out times, but most hotels are understanding that people might need a little more time especially on a Sunday morning.

Great hotel, very clean and well lit rooms. The hallways were quiet, no disturbances at all and the staff was very friendly. We found parking easily.

I love the location (2 blocks from the E,7,G) but this hotel doesn't really offer much of anything.

Great staff! Great location! Great view of Manhattan. Close to subway and water taxi. Nice little markets close by. The parking lot was an added bonus. These Michiganders loved LIC, and can't wait to go back!

Check in smooth, ventilation broken it was easily 90 degrees in the room, AC did not work at all. Immediately was moved to another room. Towels brand new, clean, great breakfast nearby at red apple cafe.

If you want to stay close to Manhattan, but don't want to pay Manhattan prices, this is the place for you! Subway is about half a mile away and you can get into Grand Central in just one stop. The rooms were clean and serviceable, although the hot and cold taps were switched in our room, but no big deal. Many rooms have a great view. The staff was helpful and courteous.
