We love staying here. We have stayed here three times. First time we stayed in a regular queen sized room, but the best was the broadway room, which is so spacious! The staff is friendly and accommodating and the location is perfect (far from the maddening crowds, yet not too far).

Good location and comfortable rooms. A bit on the small side tho, and our room had no view, but the prices were good for NYC. Breakfast is limited as it is mainly pastries and coffees in the lobby supplied by a coffee shop round the corner. However there are loads of options in the vacinity

Warm welcome and nice surroundings, smallish rooms (but it is new york) main complaint is the poor internet, we were on the fifth floor, maybe just on the outskirts of the signal. Disconnects every couple of minutes. If that could be sorted would of been much happier

I stayed at the hotel last night. Could not sleep. Room in the 6th floor in the front of the building very noisy. At 4:30 AM people started
    slamming the doors.
I know it is Marathon week-end
, but still there is no need to make so much noise. Last night, I went and bought herbal tea at the corner store because the only thing the hotel was offering was one type of regular tea. We paid $490.00 for our room with no breakfast included.
It is not the first time we stayed at that hotel, our previous experience were good, but I am not planning to comeback there any time soon.

Nice and cozy hotel located in a historical building of early '900.
Rooms are in the average MC size but comfortable. Very close to metro, supermarkets, nice places for breakfast and Natural History Museum.

Beautiful nicely decorated Hotel in the upper Westside, spacious rooms with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Very friendly and attentive staff. Short walking distance to Central Park, Natural history museum, Riverside Park and Lincoln Center. Great selection of restaurants and shops also in walking distance. Next subway station at 72th street accessing both local and express trains to lower Manhattan and Times square. So it is a good starting point for exploring NYC.

I can't speak to the hotel stay as my husband was the one who stayed there for work. When he was checking in they said they were charging the room to his card and he said it should already be paid for through my company. They looked it up and agreed it would be the usual $50 hold. It was actually a $304 'hold.' When he complained they told him They had no idea why they were holding the extra money but it should come off when he checks out. Well two days later and they still have the unexplained hold on our account and it happened to some of his coworkers as well. I would advise checking your accounts carefully after staying here.

Vintage charm with modern touches. Hotel was immaculate. Most comfortable beds I've slept on in any hotel I've been to. Staff was courteous, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is located in the upper west side, and is a nice older building. The room I stayed in was a bit small. They had a little event where the staff was all out in the lobby and they provided light snacks, which was nice. Service was good, Rooms were clean. Elevator is tiny. Gym is decent, couple of treadmills and some free weights.

Nice looking hotel, very good beds. A shame they do not have a nice bar. Rooms could be cleaner. Airco did not work very well. Far too warm in the room.

I liked the location, and the style of the building. Room was a little small, but what else should I expect from a historical hotel in the city? Elevators were very small though. Good service.

I'm more than satisfied with the room, staff and location for the price but I wish there was a coffee maker in the room. For the money, I really couldn't ask for better though. I found street parking pretty easily, actually, on a Friday afternoon and the WiFi is pretty fast. The elevators are a tad rickety and tiny, but it adds to the antique ambiance. The fitness room is adequate. Again, for the price, I'm satisfied as it was considerably cheaper than others. Great place.

Hotel Belleclaire might not be right in the center of Manhattan, but if that is not so much of a problem to you I think it's a great option worth considering. Initially we were given a very small room, the hotel was fully booked and we did not like that. The following day we were assigned the room that we booked for (a standard double) and things were great again. Internet works really well, breakfast is nothing special but there are very valid options outside, rooms are comfortable and relatively quiet, staff did a marvellous job with us so we cannot complain there too! All in all a very good stay.
