I love using the sunrail for leisurely activities or to get to work when possible. This Winter Park station is very pretty and provides easy access to Park Avenue shopping and dining along with some other gorgeous areas of Winter Park. I like coming on the Sunrail from Sanford with my family to have brunch or get ice cream for our little one. The varied utility of the sunrail is just awesome.
I have been riding from there to church street every work day for 3 years and am so happy with the service.
Clean seats, plenty of space, free Wi-Fi and bathrooms! What more could you ask for? Ok.. perhaps more mid-day times and weekend service. But still, the Sunrail is awesome and definitely beats traffic on I-4.
Terrible experience with delays leaving and returning. No contingency plan for when problems arise leaving passengers stranded with no recourse at this point. My daughter never rode a train but this first experience has been awful. Needing meds, tired and frustrated after a long day. Don't plan on using Amtrak again.
Just right for Winter Park. perfect size. Everything you need and nothing you don't!
1 hour 11 minutes delay. Station is good and clean, but nobody at the station to help. You need to relay solely on your smartphone or call the 800 # to get info. Train is clean, spacious and comfortable enough in Coach. The main issue is the delay, if you depend to be on time, I suggest to be very aware of this.
I love traveling by train.
People are not in a hurry and so are more relaxed and courteous.
Traveling by plane is a nightmare and most people are in a hurry and terribly rude. Winter Park is a wonderful station. I've been using it since the 70's and with the newest renovation it's really beautiful. Kudos to the people who work there who are wonderful.
Clean and comfortable. Excellent staff
Very beautiful Station, and the people that work here are AWESOME!!! Very kind and accommodating. Our train was delayed but they treated us very well. 4/8/17 ~ Saturday night.
I recently caught the Amtrak train from the Winter Park Florida station. This is a new station that was built two years ago (2014). It is very nice and clean. The people who work there are very pleasant and helpful. You check in your bags and they put them on the train for you. Then, we were led across the tracks to pick up the Northbound train. There is ample parking and its quite easy for dropping someone off. While waiting, I got pictures of the local commuter Sunrail train that pulled into the station. You can buy a ticket on the platform. There is ample room in the seats with plenty of leg room. There is a snack car and also a lovely dining car where you reserve a place for dinner. Riding the train was a great way to go!
