Stayed here for an entire week, you can't judge a book by it's cover. When I first saw this place it was different. After staying for the people that live here are very friendly, quiet and the staff are very friendly and care about how you stay was. The hotel room was very clean.

When we pulled up, my first thought was "This is sketchy at best". My instincts were right. If "American Horror Story" wanted to do a season called "Boarding House", this would be the perfect location. It didn't help that they had Halloween decorations up including a graveyard in the back! Peeling paint and trash cans overflowing with stinky trash. What they don't tell you is, the upstairs is a boarding house. There are children and adults running up and down the wooden stairs all night. VERY loud! The hardwood floors make the footsteps above your room sound like a herd of elephants. Luckily for us, Florida was experiencing one of it's rare cooler days because the air conditioner didn't work (looked like half the buttons were gone and it was unplugged when we got there). FINALLY after getting to sleep, we were awoken around 3am by the smoke alarms. Apparently one of the "boarders" burned food on their hot plate! With all the running around upstairs and up and down the stairs, we ended up getting about 2 hours sleep after that. To be fair, the room itself was clean, the hardwood floors were nice and the bathroom was larger than most. Nice shower. Internet WiFi was strong and they gave us 4 different links to try. It may be a historical home, but I will nice be staying there again.

The 1876 Heritage Inn is a very intriguing Place indeed. It is the most inexpensive place to stay in my area. If you plan on spending your time here I would recommend for you to stay to yourself do too many people that are selling and using drugs that reside here. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are very nice yet not very thorough at their job my fiance and I had to clean our own room and disinfect it before we felt comfortable here the place is falling apart and needs a lot of love but as I said it's very inexpensive if you can stay to yourself and mind your own business. Then it's not so bad.

The hotel is quaint and quiet. The staff are nice and helpful.. The historic pictures hanging on all the walls and the postal museum are awesome. The rooms still have the original wood floors and vintage furnishings.

Don't be fooled bye the sight of this place.you hear heritage and historic you don't think it actually means spider webs and mildew but that's exactly what you will be experiencing at heritage inn. My stay was completely ruined once I put my cloths in washer and they came back covered in filth. 1.50 per wash and dry.no laundry after 8. Rooms are tiny and covered in dust the bed was awful.the staff were creepy.non smoking only,no option for smokers or non smoking rooms. I will not be going back to stay not visit this place. I wanted to ask for Refund. Below is the termite infestation in the bathroom and a disgusting picture hung in our room while we were there.

Heritage Inn is beautiful. I plan to stay here for an extended period of time while
Continuing my education.
This Inn holds tremendous historical value as it was built in 1876.

The Management is wonderful. They aim to please..and that they do.

I was disappointed that the restaurant and bar were closed for the duration. That was one of the reasons I book there! There were no places to eat in walking distance. The room was small and not at all like the ones portrayed on their web site! The rug on the floor was dirty and turning black from foot traffic. The wall looked like they haven't been painted since the place was built with black wear make on the edge of the door opening. There wasn't a door on the closet or even a hanger in it. It was a no smoking room, but there were burn holes in the couch and burn mark on the coffee table and even the bathroom floor! The furnishing were dated 1960's and the front of the refrigerator was repaint black right over rust spots. The WI/FI was not working for two days.

The place has a certain charm, but they need to maintain the rooms a little better. Simple things, like dusting, tightening up screws and such.

The hotel is very nice. We stayed in a room with one bed and it worked great. There is a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in the room. There is also a TV. All around a great hotel.

The rooms are cozy and affordable. The hotel is also a postal museum and had many interesting things on display. The management has been very hospitable.

This place is very cute as well as historical although it seems to be a "live in" type of place. it is very quiet very sweet place kind of reminds you of "grandma's house" all in all not a bad place to visit had a wonderful time. :)
