I REALLY HATE posting such a low rating but THIS PARTICULAR STAY was PARTICULARLY BAD. I have stayed here before and it was pleasant, very CLEAN, nice pool, nice staff, NICE VALUE & Pretty view.
My MOST RECENT visit however; was all BUT very clean, value, nor pool. Which:being a FL resident i do UNDERSTAND that we've be through a hurricane recently. It SHOULD'VE STATED on the websie, on the booking website i used & also on the phone when i called to check rates-that they have water damage in all (?) the rooms. I have very serious upper respiratory allergies. I am VERY allergic to mold & had asthma all night..not to mention i could not walk on the floor without shoes due to the b
Pealing and breaking laminent flooring. ALSO? The pool is still green/closed. These things ALL MOST DEFINITELY should have been mentioned NOT TO MENTION-they're should've been a discount of some sort. VERY poor business. I am VERY dissapointed. I really enjoyed my stay once before. I feel ripped off..and truly not cared for ( our well being)

Not nearly as charming as one would hope. The hotel's exterior and the rooms are definitely in need of a rehab. But, it was quiet and had good waterfront view.

Every room has a lake view. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very kind and helpful. I would visit again.

The staff is excellent and accommodating, more than happy to help guests and make allowances. The hotel's view is beautiful and the pool is clean and accessible. However there is a pest issue and facilities such as laundry are not always functional.

The rooms were spacious, and extremely clean! The scenery is breath taking. The girl at the front desk, during the day, was very helpful. I highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway.

Quaint, built in the 60s, but the staff is great and friendly. They offered to print my boarding pass which saved me hassle at the airport. Interior of the room had fixtures you would expect in an older residential home but everything felt clean. Bed was pretty standard as far as comfort.

Beautiful older motel with picturesque views of the lake. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool and two restaurants within walking distance. Upon our arrival, we did find a roach and an anole inside the room, but I won't fault this place much because it is on a lake in Florida. Otherwise, my friend and I had an amazing stay!

Great location in at the Sanford Marina. Staff was so very friendly (I'm talking to you Melinda!) Room overlooking the lake was fantastic. Only negative were the flying bugs outside. No fault of the property, but going outside after dark is adventurous to say the least. Would stay again.
