Front desk was friendly but the hotel is shabby. Currently they're remodeling so you may want to stay elsewhere until it's finished. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls and there are electrical access holes in the ceiling of the room. There are cigarette burn holes in the curtain of my non-smoking room. Hallways and nearby rooms were unreasonably noisy into the early morning hours--even after 4 calls to the front desk.The fitness center is closed during the remodel which they don't let you know before booking. Definitely an unpleasant stay.

Affordable rooms and a good breakfast. Definitely need to be addressed on their website that they are currently doing serious renovations to the interior.

Was a great stay. Huge room beds were comfy. Hot breakfast in the morning. They slip a newspaper under your door in the morning. Pool hot tub and gym. They even have a business center.

Older hotel but a good staff. Maids were a little slack with cleaning. The furnishings were older with wear. The breakfast was good and the pool was nice. The surrounding area was a older part of town. But the nice part of town was about 15 minutes away.

Location: it's Right off of capital Blvd. Not ideal, a lot scummy people around that way. But it is close to various restaurants and a nice little place to hide way. Room: A very basic room. The couch was comfortable, things seemed "clean" but just clean enough to not complain. It felt very stuffy, though. The air was really moist. Services: The wifi was down and I myself had to call in and get it fixed. I mean, call the actual company. Don't ask front desk to help on that, they won't. Overall, 3 and a half stars.

AMAZING STAY.
The hotel looked and smelled soooo clean and neat upon check in. Taka checked us in and was so accommodating. Checking in was made a breeze.
Our room was super clean and quaintly decorated. I work at a hotel so I know what to look for housekeeping-wise and everything was cleaned well, to the T. Very Impressive.
The only issue we had was that our TV couldn't connect to the cable box, but when we called, we spoke with Craig at the front desk, who promptly came up to our room, and set up the box for us.
Craig was so kind, patient, personable, and fun to talk to and was willing to do all he could to help. He even provided us with first aid supplies when we needed them and was nothing but pleasant throughout the night when we went in and out of the hotel. THANK YOU, CRAIG.
Will definitely be staying again next time I visit Raleigh.response / report this review -

If u want to pay extra because you think its nicer because it's a wyndham, save your money. Hotel is equivalent to a days inn. I went against the reviews on this one because sometimes people are just picky. But the reviews were right. Staff is very friendly. My room was decent. Butt seen a roach as soon as we opened up the fridge. One of the shower cutrains were ripped off & Rust on the door hinges.

First off it should be a option for a zero star. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. I was looking for a decent room just for ONE night. I looked on the website at their pictures and it appeared to be decent. Soon as I pull up I notice the windows are filthy and look as they have not been cleaned in years. That was the first sign. I walk in to check in and immediately smell a stench of mold. I check in and the lady had decent manners. I headed to the elevators to go to my room. The elevators reeked of alcohol and marijuana and smoke. It has a big sign saying NO SMOKE. However I get to my room and the halls continued to smell like alcohol and marijuana. I open my door and I am instantly turned off by outdated and dirty funiture and fixings. I turn on the first light and it flickers on and off. I attempted to turn on the rest of the lights and only the ones by the bed worked. There were stains on the carpet. I then check my bed for obvious signs of bed bugs. I could see no signs of bed bugs on the first bed. When I walked to the second bed and pulled back the sheets it was countless hairs and dirt in the sheets. By this point and time I am disgusted but I bring my own cover and pillows so I remove their cover and replace it with mines. I go down to get the rest of my bags from my car. I go to dinner and come back to the hotel which still smells of mold, alcohol and marijuana. I go to my room and head into the bathroom to take a shower. It appears decent. I go to take a shower and the curtain rod is rusty and the shower curtain has mold. While I was trying to shower the stopper was broke so water was standing still as if I'm taking a bath. I go to my bed to call it a night. Around 7am I wake up to BUGS on my pillow circling around as if I am in their space. After my stay I call to complain but it only fell on empty ears. Nothing was done for me. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF IT IS ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT.

Still one of the best hotels to stay at. Super clean rooms. Indoor pool, gym, and sauna. Hotel staff are extramly polite and professional. If you want quality, you have to pay for that.

Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by both desk attendants and they were able to quickly expedite my check in process. The hotel lobby was clean and kept tidy. When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised the rooms crisp scent. The beds were made well and sheets were very clean. The only think I would say the hotel could do better is have newer appliances in the room, especially the AC units. They're definitely outdated but work just fine after you get them figured out.

Location: convenient and easily accessible. Room: more than fair price with a unusual 30% military discount. however, check in is at 3pm and my room was not done being cleaned. Service: slow and rude. The front desk clerk was mouthy because I was standing in line and other guest waiting to check in were seated, I walked in I didn't know who was next I went up to the counter and she decided that I was disrespecting the other guest. Another attendant came to assist and although he was polite enough he was slow to get us checked in. No bugs were found in my room but I found a large half dollar sized cockroach by the elevators. Overall 3/5. Not planning on staying there anytime soon.
