Wonderful stay all the way around. Check in staff very good and accommodating. Room clean and large. Beds comfortable. Whirlpool tub great after driving so long. Pool clean and perfect temperature! Was not happy they got rid of the large hot tub in pool area! Only problem was with breakfast as help called off and food was sparse till a back up showed.

The first morning there the fire alarm woke us up around 8 am. (After taking the red eye) So, we decided to go down and get breakfast. they ran out of eggs and sausage. Asked twice, they said it was cooking. After about 20 minutes we gave up waiting. The second morning, the fire alarm went off at 5 am. Not fun. Other than that, fine establishment. Lol

Liked the hotel. Awesome free breakfast. It was nice and clean, good facilities.
Be careful though, they charged my card 2x. They were good at resolving the issue, so just make sure to double check. I would stay there againresponse / report this review -

Our family went for an overnight for a volleyball tournament. Small hotel but served it's purpose. Check in and check out easy. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and new shower head which was great. Pool was great for the kids. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay again.

We can in from Richmond, Va to visit family. All the rooms were booked around Erie, Pa. Went to Wingate by Wyndham and Lindsay help me. She was so nice and helpful! Complimentary breakfast was great! Rooms very clean. Staff was awesome! Indoor pool/whirlpool was relaxing! Especially for my son! Whole experience was great! Thank you!

My husband and I spent a weekend in Erie for our Anniversary, and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Our room was awesome; it was clean, very spacious and well laid-out, and we had a nice-sized jacuzzi in ours. The jacuzzi was actually in a small side-room off the main room which was SO great! There was a TV in the main room, and ANOTHER one where the jacuzzi was! We also had a fridge and microwave in our room; all the comforts of home! The complimentary breakfast had just about everything one would need to get the day off to a great start, and the dining room staff was very friendly. And the price was super reasonable. We would definitely stay here again (I would almost go to Erie again just to stay here!) Fantastic hotel experience!!

This Wingate is very nice! The lobby looks really nice & they have a wonderful complimentary breakfast! Check in is quick & easy. I stayed in a King Jacuzzi suite which was excellent. I also had a pet, which I mentioned at booking, & everything went smoothly when booking a pet friendly room. The location is great! There's a lot of shopping & restaurants nearby. This is my first visit to this hotel & would definitely return!

We had a simple overnight stay, as we were in the Erie area. While the room was clean and decently appointed, the beds were quite hard, and there were a few "little things" that weren't up to par. We had flickering bulbs in the bathroom, the plug in the bathtub leaked, meaning the tub would not fill, and the room keys gave us continual problems. While it was nothing to complain to the front desk about, I would have expected a little more from a Wingate. The breakfast was decent (standard hotel "buffet" breakfast), but there was not nearly enough seating, and we had to sit at the coffee table in the main lobby. We booked our room on Priceline, so I can't complain or comment about the price (it was a name-your-own-price bid).

Great location in Erie. Right off of Peach street where there are numerous restaurants and stores. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern. The rooms are nice. The indoor pool and hot tub area clean and we'll lit. The continental breakfast is "ok", but it's nice to grab a bite onsite then go on with your day. Hotel staff are friendly and we will be using this hotel for our future travel plans.

Beautiful hotel, very family friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. Most of the staff was very helpful and polite, though there were a few stinkers. They have a nice pool area, but it was pretty busy. Not a problem though since I was only adding more kids.

Great location, close to many restaurants, stores and both I-79 and I-90. Minutes from Presque Isle. Clean room, comfy beds, no lingering pet/smoke odors. Pool and hot tub area was nice. Full hot breakfast and plenty of seating. We have stayed here twice in two years and both times were problem free. I would stay here again.

We've stayed here before so we were really disappointed by the drop in quality in the past few years. Everything is clean, but poorly maintained. The furniture in our room was banged up and scratched. A mirror on the wall was held on by what appeared to be tape. The continental breakfast was still good, but no one seemed to care much about service. The girl at the front desk talked my husband into an upgrade to a room with more space, but failed to mention that there was only sleeping accommodations for 2 people even though we were a party of 4, so we had to immediately downgrade to our original room. We also called to have extra towels brought up and, despite being told they would be up shortly, they never did arrive. Between this visit and our last stay at the Wingate in Erie, we've stayed in other hotels in Erie that are much better quality. We will be staying elsewhere in the future.

Hotel in good location near splash lagoon. Staff friendly. Hot Breakfast was great. Pool and jacuzzi nice. Room was clean. Wish they had a washer and dryer on site. Other than that it was great. Would stay here again.
