The room was fine. Everything expected was there. My room faced the interstate and was about 200 feet away. The sound of the traffic all night long was horrible and I don't know if I got any sleep. I am a light sleeper but the freeway sounds we're horrible. Worst sleeping experience in some time.

The standard King size room had no microwave or refrigerator, had to pay $5 more to upgrade! Overall the room was ok for the price and free McDonald’s breakfast in the morning!

Rooms are nice, bathrooms are a little small but at least there clean. There's a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator in the room, so that's a plus. I only wish it had an elevator, I have trouble walking so getting up stairs was a little difficult. I, also, wish there was a tv guide in the room, perhaps that could be a suggestion for their future guests. All in all, it was quiet and comfortable. I'd return again.

There was a brief issue with the toilet in our room not working. The woman working the front counter quickly got us moved to the next room over. She was very understanding and everything went well from there on out.

Stayed for 4 nights while visiting family. Staff were very friendly and responsive to our requests. With the exception of one night, housekeeping did a wonderful job. Record snowfall in Erie during our visit, and they did very good job keeping sidewalks clear and parking lot clear. Like the McDonald's breakfast vouchers they provide for you. Would recommend.

We are here now. We ordered 2 rooms. One for my sister and one for us. I will give it a 1star for it is clean. I normally just do a 5 star but I can't on this one. Our room SMELLS horrible. My sisters is across the a walk thru and hers does not stinks.
We know we won't get our money back or give us a different room. I wanted to cancel but they couldn't cancel, but now with the room reeking of being MUSTY and MILDEW smells. I am not sure if I will make it all night. It absolutely STINKS!!! I would be ashamed. If you can get over the smell I would give it a 4 or 5 star but the smell sorry it's lucky to get a 1star, because IT is a big deal!. Room # 136. Outside that room is was all good. But the smell over took the bad.

We made a reservation at a competitor La Quinta and when we arrived their housekeeping did not clean any rooms hence we had no place to stay at 12midnight (with 2 dogs). We called Red Roof next door and they were very helpful and immediately got us a room and gave us a HUGE discount. The room was very clean and we slept very well.
Thank you for your service and compassion!

Best of the "No Frills". Recently updated. Nice laminate wood floors, comfy king bed, mini coffee station, fridge, safe. Very clean.

This hotel is pretty easy to find. The prices are fair (about $280 for 4 nights in a room with 2 beds booked not too far in advance) and it's very well kept.
I would recommend bringing a pillow from home if you can swing it, the loss of one star was mostly for the extra firmness of the mattress and pillows alike. The beds seemed comfortable at first but the mornings were a slightly different story.
The other reason for losing a star was due to housekeeping running the vacuum so early. Being on vacation, we wanted to sleep in a bit (plus some people could be staying there while working nights) but the vacuum started up around 8am. When the rooms are so close together, you can't help but wake up whenever it kicks up.
The people at the front desk are very nice though and offered maps and directions whenever we checked in or stopped down. They have coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby and while they don't have breakfast available at the hotel, they do have a deal with the McDonald's next door and offer vouchers for breakfast there.
While it wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in, I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip there.

Nice pet friendly room, king bed. A little pricey but I think the pet is $12 of that. Again I am paying for the pet owners that are creeps. 😡

We stayed here for a quick overnight on a long distance trip. We got in around 1 a.m. and the front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. It's also a plus that they allow pets with no additional fees. Our room was very clean-the hard wood floors are a nice touch. The shower water pressure was amazing! The only issues were the bed was not super comfortable, the towels were pretty rough, and you can hear the freeway, but these seemed minor for our quick crash; I must admit I was sort of skeptical of staying at a cheap hotel as I have had a horrible experience doing so in the past with a different chain, but this place was actually very nice for the value. Plus free breakfast voucher from McDonalds! We would stay here again.

I was extremely impressed with all aspects of this establishment. From the phone call to reserve a room to the actual room itself.

The front desk clerk was extremely energetic and outgoing. Very knowledgeable about the local area.

The rooms took me by surprise. I've never stayed in a hotel room with what appears to be wooden flooring. Was very comfortable to walk on.

Bathroom was spotless and bed was comfortable.

Room was clean. Staff was super nice. But the cleaner do not use hypoallergenic cleaning solutions. I couldn't sleep all night since I was having an allergic reaction. I've never had this issue before and spent the next night at the Red Roof Inn Cleveland and no issues. If it wasn't for that this place would have e been a 5
