Clean, quiet and well priced. Allowed late check out as we had car trouble while traveling. They provided razor and toothpaste at front desk when requested. Breakfast was ample and good. Will stay again.

The staff where great. The breakfast was good but the green eggs was a turn off. When I told the desk she came over to the eggs and mixed the eggs so you could not see the green eggs anymore. She had a reason why the eggs turned green I just could not bring myself to eat them. The only other thing we could not turn the volume on the TV any lower than 15. The staff was very nice and the room was clean.

Short stay, but very comfortable. The room was freezing when I first opened the door🌬❄ I had to leave it to warm up for an hour. Not a good look in the winter!

The staff was great! They had only a $10 pet fee instead of the $50 every place else around there, so that was awesome! The room was a good size for us and since they try to keep pets on the first floor it was easy to get to our room. We will stay again for sure!

It's a microtel, so you can't have super high expectations, but the price was great and the location was good also. More importantly, the staff was awesome. Such nice people. Very customer oriented. More than hotels need staff likes this.

Of special note is John in Audit. He works the 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. shift and had breakfast ready to go at 4:30 in the morning, 2 hours ahead of schedule, for all of us running the Erie Marathon. All of us in the lobby really appreciated his extra effort, and he was quite cheerful about doing so. Thank you!

Me & my wife stayed and had a great experience. I read a lot of reviews of people saying the rooms were small but what were you expecting in a "Microtel", it's in the name lol I have no complaints. Room was clean, breakfast was good, price was even better. You can't please everyone

This is the ONLY place I stay when I come to Erie. The Guest Services Manager, Becky, knows me by name and always knows what kind of room I prefer. When John is working the desk he's always helpful and friendly.
The rooms are clean. The breakfast is always great. The people working are wonderful. Best part? NO bedbugs! Ever!
If they don't have a room I'll go out of town to find another Microtel.response / report this review -

We requested a non smoking room. When we checked in, the room clearly smelled of smoke even though the room was marked non smoking. After 24 hours the smell went away which confirmed that the last guest had smoked in the room. If you advertise non smoking rooms they should actually be free of smoke. We have a 2 year old and the thought of him sleeping in air containing tobacco fumes is awful. If the place is for smokers just say so and we will look elsewhere. Disgusting. Only reason we stayed is because we already paid. NASTY

Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt before I wrote a review after seeing other reviews that said the staff were nice, did not feel that way. Staff were cold and seemed to not want to give out extra items such as towels etc.

Very nice, quaint hotel. Stayed for one night and it was a small room, but clean. However, the people next room to me were loud and obnoxious. I called the front desk and said they would call them. Hotel staff was very polite, and had good breakfast.

I stayed here w my dogs when I first came to town. Staff was welcoming, friendly and informative. My room was clean and comfortable. I came during off season (winter) and the rate was very reasonable for Microtel. My dogs were welcomed too!
