Great price! Certainly acceptable for a one night stay overnight. Clean and included a good enough breakfast.
Family stayed here April 2018 due to a funeral. We were very pleased with cleanliness, price, breakfast and how friendly staff were. I left something behind and they went out of their way to find it in housekeeping so another Family member could stop for it. Would definitely recommend.
This place was terrible. Hospitality was awful. Except Paul. Be nice to Paul. Paul rocks.
Stopped for sleep and shower and no hot water. Check in guy was great at 1am. Check out girl kinda rude. When I mentioned no hot water, she said oh, typed in the computer and grabbed my key. No I'm sorry or anything. Breakfast is a joke. Avoid if possible.
Great value for the money, great customer service, comfortable pillows, nice clean roomy bathroom , clean room, I was surprised to have a fridge and microwave in the room I was told there was none the fridge didn't work that well. Nice big flat screen TV, coffee maker in room, vending machine very good value. Front desk was very nice and helpful. They do have continental breakfast but we left to early for that. We would stay again if the price was right.
The location is a little odd since it's tucked in behind a Quality Inn, but otherwise easy to get to right off the highway. Service from the front desk was pretty responsive and the room was clean. This worked for us since we just needed a place to stay overnight. Breakfast was more than just continental fare with the inclusion of grill-your-own waffles. Would stay here again if I needed a cheaper room to spend the night.
Nice clean room. Super friendly staff. Step up from Continental breakfast. All the rooms were connected like a normal hotel. Comfortable bed. The locks and dead bolt needed to be fixed on the room. Nice tv. Small refrigerator but big enough for a gallon of milk, a bunch of drinks, and a nice small area for freezing ice packs. They had a pack and play so that was definitely perfect for us. I felt safe in the hotel and that the staff were friendly.
I would have given this Super 8 Erie 4 stars, but there was dog (I assume) feces in the corner of our room. Our room smelled upon arrival and we did not see the actual pile until the next day because it was behind a chair. Housekeeping went through our room before we arrived and again after the first night of our three night stay, but they did not find it either time. The service other than that was good and the breakfast bar was well kept. The TV in our room had poor reception.
You definitely get what you pay for. The staff very friendly, but the room smelled of smoke/musty. The beds were comfortable and bed bug free. Bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good as well. Perfect for a quick stay.
Room wasn't clean when I tried to check in - house keeping was rude when I wanted to only drop my bags off. I had reserved a king bed, room had 2 queens, had to get that straightened out.
TV was unplugged & some channels were fuzzy.
When the next room ran hot water my shower got cold, when they ran cold my water got hot.
My room wasn't cleaned at all Saturday - I was gone from 11 until 7. I called the front desk to report it - all they said was they were sorry.
Sorry didn't change my experience at this hotel, which was bad,
Never again. The only plus - the bed was comfortable
The place is dated, seriously needs some upgrades, much of the furniture and carpets seem to be from the 70s. The rooms were relatively clean, but just outdated. The shower was surprisingly pleasant for a hotel, plenty of pressure and hot water. The breakfast was weak, really just a waffle maker, which really needed some no stick spray, everyone's waffles came apart trying to get them out. But they have some of the best rates in Erie, and they are right off the highway. Oh and the black jak restaurant in the quality in that is associated with this place was excellent.
Was a bit skeptical of this hotel based on some reviews but we had a great experience. Warm water, clean sheets, well kept room! The outdoor pool was a slight walk to the neighboring hotel, but it wasn't far away and was also clean and nice. It is right next to the highway but the traffic noise was barely audible from our room! I would definitely stay here again!
Decent hotel considering the low price. Slightly old rooms could use some updating. People were friendly and helpful. Only problem with my room was a loud ac that didn't seem to work.
Location is right off the highway. Entrance is right beside the Shell gas station (blink and you will miss it and have to pull a u-turn) Hotel is OK for the money, I made the.mistakes of booking a smoking room. Thankfully it didn't smell too bad. Breakfast was just cereal and waffles, nothing major. One annoyance was the vent system. It ran for what seemed like hours and there was no way to shut it off. I had to completely close bathroom door and even that didn't dampen the sound. It was very loud. Room was ok, nothing special. Apparently there is a shuttle to the casino, but I didn't use it.
This was the most comfortable room I've ever stayed in at a Super 8. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. And the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast offerings were also very nice. I'd stay here again if I happen to be going through the area again in the future.
