Very nice hotel and room, cute grounds, free breakfast in the morning was nice as well. Centrally located to everything we needed to do in town too! Friendly helpful staff as well.

Stay was good,,except ,,started noticing Bites,,,Flea bites,,hands ,legs, ankles ,called ,,left word,, for the Manager tell the agony I was going through, over 25 bites ,never called back.
Very disappointed , to make it right..

The hotel is s bit older but they are beginning to do renovations and the new rooms are very nice. The staff is warm and really answer and help through all concerns. Really enjoy coming here for business trips has a nice meeting hall

First, hotel staff has been friendly. Rooms are comfortable, but as noted below can benefit with some maintenance. We stayed here several years ago and noticed that flat screen TV's have now been put in rooms, replacing the ancient tube style TV's. Free breakfast is included and is tasty and area kept clean.
So for the not so good and why only three stars. Hotel is in need of maintenance and repairs. Elevators not working during our stay. Carpets show need for replacing in rooms, or at least stretched to remove wrinkles. Carpet seams in hallway held together with duct tape. Ice machine was also not working. A/C was not working in room on night of check-in, room would only cool to 79 degrees. Front desk promptly resolved problem next day.response / report this review -

The hotel rooms need a deep cleaning. The carpets in the hallway are loose and fraying.
One day we were not provided with towels. When we asked for towels, we were told that we would have to come and get them ourselves. It seems that there may not have been adequate staff available.
The breakfast area was clean and the attendants were very friendly and helpful.response / report this review -

I have stayed at the Windmill on 2 other occasions and each time I have stayed there the quality of the rooms have gone down. Lots of kids in the hallways roaming up late. I think it is a nice place that could be a better place to stay if it was nicer.

Front desk receptionist was friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and mostly clean. The bathroom showed some mildew stains that could be bleached. Loved that the bedroom could be separated from the bathroom and living room.Bed was comfortable. Cute little kitchen area with microwave, sink, and mini-fridge along with bar stools. The property was beautiful. We ate breakfast on the patio next to the fountain. Breakfast was well-stocked and staff very attentive. Overall, VERY satisfied with our stay!

Pretty nice place. All the staff are exceptionally nice. Super place for kids with a nice pool. Great buffet breakfast. The one caution I'd give is that they are not well prepared to deal with disabilities, and offer zero "bell boy" services. I arrived with my dad in a wheelchair and four pieces of luggage​. When I asked for help getting to our room, they sent a maintenance man who told me he couldn't help with my dad because of liability. He then disappeared. Thanks to the kindness of a guest I was able to get to our room on the second floor. Later that evening when we returned from dinner, the elevators were out of order. Fortunately, the staff were very sweet and got us a room on the ground floor. They even helped move our stuff to the new room. Nice place overall, but don't come here if you're​ in a wheelchair or need help with luggage.

Great hotel stay, worth the money. Respectable, nice, hospitable staff. I love the set up of the room. All rooms have a small living room away from the bedroom; with a small kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. So much privacy in one room!!! The pond is awesome. What a great view. There are turtles, fish, and ducks swimming around. One of the ducks had a unique Mohawk! I could not make this up! It was a peaceful place to stay. I was able to stop and smell the roses!!!

We stayed for 4 nights. We booked a king but got 2 fulls.we weren't completely happy but dealt with in. The free breakfast was great. They kept everything full so nothing ran out. Very well run hotel. My only complaint was they only refilled the coffee in the room once instead of each day. We only got bottled water in our room once but they kept lemon water coolers in the hallways which was a nice touch. We will stay again for our next visit.

It was ok. Food was not much choice. Same everyday. If you are gluten sensitive, do not stay here. Always biscuit and gravy. No potatoes. A/C in room was set and I was cold. Could not change it. Had to call manager.

Hotel was outdated.
There wasn't a duvet cover for the blanket. Just a fitted sheet on the bottom and top.
I requested a crib and the sides would not lock in place so we gave up and just slept with our baby in the bed. Plus they didn't bring a sheet for the crib.
But the breakfast was pretty awesome. And the lady working it was super nice.response / report this review -

We found the Windmill Inn and Suites to be very comfortable. The room was very large and well equipped. The location was perfect for getting to several of the spring training stadiums. The only missing piece was not having a balcony. We really like to sit outside in the mornings and evenings and we missed not having this opportunity.
Otherwise, we will definitely consider returning next year.response / report this review
