Super nice hotel, centrally located downtown. There is a parking garage close by. Also a few minutes walk to the Phoenix Convention Center. Lots of local restaraunts close by. The baseball stadium & basketball arena are also a short walk. There is also an Einstein Bros bagel place in the lobby
I was upgraded to an executive suite in a high floor, which was appropriate given my status. Good accommodations in the room - TV size, room size, iron, etc. I appreciated my conversations with the staff - they were all incredibly helpful and attentive. Valets could have been a little less expecting of tips in their behavior - a big turn off.
Well maintained, older hotel. I stayed here for 8 days last month for business. Beautiful views from the exterior glass elevators and upper floors. Super nice staff. Right across from the convention center and 3 blocks from the ball field. If you want to be downtown, this is a good choice. Parking is pricey if you're driving.
Lovely establishment. Very nice, clean rooms, very pleasant and courteous staff. Beautiful views and great location. Comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. Highly recommended. In close proximity to dining, entertainment and attractions.
The visit here was AMAZING, the hotel has there own restaurant at the first floor, I Highly recommend the hot wings. The restaurant also has a vegan menu and a lactose intolerant menu as well. The pool and hot tub was very large and very relaxing. Most of the elevators has a glass wall and they go very fast downwards, The third floor looks like the first floor when you go down the elevators. It looks like that your going to go down through the floor at that speed but remember its the third floor not the first. Over all everything was great through out this amazing stay at Hyatt R
Nice location and near all the things I needed. Room is clean and modern. Good water pressure. TV channel selection could be better. It's nice they have 2 restaurants on the property even though they are somewhat pricey. That's to be expected when dining in a hotel. It even has a Einstein bagels. A/C kept the room nice and cold , which is awesome considering this is Phoenix in the middle of the summer. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Exactly what you'd expect from a Hyatt! Clean rooms, modern design, and multiple amenities and restaurant options in the same building. The whole stay started off with a extremely friendly and helpful staff. The woman working at the front desk perfectly fit the definition of true hospitality. Staying at this hotel gives you easy walking access to most of the hotspots in Downtown Phoenix. Both sports venues are a 5-10 minute walk, and multiple bars and restaurants are just out the door. If I had to choose one thing I was not a fan of was the size of the bathroom. It's not the smallest I've seen but also not the largest. Otherwise it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay even through we never made it into their pool! If you're looking for a hotel in the area I'd highly recommended the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix!
The bar/restaurant wasn't quite what I expected for a Hyatt, but it was good. Fast service and reasonably priced drinks. Definitely more of a sports bar feel but it's not a bad place to stop by if you're in the area.
You've gotta do the Compass room at sundown. It's pricey, so I usually do apps or dessert, but the view of Phoenix is magnificent. And, the food is delicious. Glass elevator to the top, which I love because I'm a bit claustrophobic in elevatos. And yes, I've stayed here before. It's worth going. Very convenient location in central Phoenix.
Excellent location just across the street from convention center. Within walking distant of multiple restaurants and bars. Nice rooms, modern, comfortable, clean. Tasteful lobby. Friendly efficient staff.
It's located in the middle of every interesting place. You can easily reach to a bunch of good restaurants, bars, museums and so forth. Rooms are clean and well suited as you may expect based on their star rating and price. Also has a nice exercise room and outdoor pool which make your stay more pleasant
My Son treated me to dinner and cocktails. My Son treated me to The Compass Bar and Grill on the last night of my visit. It really was nice, our server was excellent. I loved the view of Phoenix at night slowly rotating for an awesome view. The food was delicious, the cocktails were yummy, and our service was excellent. Very nice.
